The rest of them escaped to the city of Aphek, where the wall collapsed on twenty-seven thousand of them. And Ben-Hadad fled to the city and hid in an inner room.

The rest of the men of Aram escaped to the city of Aphek. Its wall fell down on 27,000 of them. Ben- Hadad ran to the city. He hid in a secret room.

如果他們躲在迦密山頂，就是在那裡，我必搜尋他們，抓他們出來；如果他們要躲避我，藏在海底，就是在那裡，我必命令蛇去咬他們；

“那逃避恐懼的，必跌進陷阱；那從陷阱中出來的，必被圈套困著。因為我必使摩押受懲罰的年日臨到它。”這是耶和華的宣告。

他們各人遇見對手就殺。亞蘭人逃跑，以色列人追趕他們。亞蘭王便．哈達騎著馬，與一些騎兵一起逃走。

現在我尼布甲尼撒讚美、尊崇、榮耀天上的王，因為他所作的一切都正確，他所行的也都公平；行為驕傲的，他都能貶低。”

那日就像一個人避過了獅子，卻遇上了熊；回到家裡，手靠在牆上，卻被蛇咬。

對慈愛的人，你顯出你的慈愛；對完全的人，你顯出你的完全；

便．哈達又差派人去見亞哈說：“撒瑪利亞的塵土若是足夠跟從我的人每人捧一捧的話，願神明懲罰我，並且加倍懲罰我。”

你們以為從前西羅亞樓倒塌的時候，壓死的那十八個人，比一切在耶路撒冷的居民更有罪嗎？

行動迅速的不能逃走，強而有力的不能施展他的勇力，勇士也不能救自己；拿弓的人站立不住，跑得快的不能逃走，騎馬的也不能救自己。
