有一位神人前來對以色列王說：“耶和華這樣說：‘因為亞蘭人說耶和華是山神，不是平原的神，所以我要把這些強大的軍兵交在你手裡，你們就知道我是耶和華。’”

有神人来见以色列王，说：“耶和华如此说：‘亚兰人既说我耶和华是山神，不是平原的神，所以我必将这一大群人都交在你手中，你们就知道我是耶和华。’”

有神人靠近，对以色列王说：“耶和华如此说：‘亚兰人既说我—耶和华是山神，不是平原之神，我必将这一大群人全都交在你手中，你们就知道我是耶和华。’”

有一個神人走近前來見以色列王說：『永恆主這麼說：「亞蘭人既說：『永恆主是山神，不是山谷的神』，那麼我就要將這一大隊蜂擁軍兵都交在你手裏，你們便知道我乃是永恆主。」』

有上帝僕進見以色列王曰、耶和華云、亞蘭人謂耶和華乃山嶽之神、非平原之神、故我必以此羣眾付於爾手、爾則知我乃耶和華、

上帝之僕至、告以色列王曰、耶和華云、亞蘭人謂耶和華乃山嶽之上帝、非平原之上帝、故我必以此實繁有徒、付於爾手、使爾知我乃耶和華。

有神人進前、告以色列王曰、主如是云、亞蘭人言我乃山岳之神、非平原之神、故我必以此大軍旅付於爾手、使爾知我乃主、

The man of God came up and told the king of Israel,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Because the Arameans think the Lord is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the Lord.’”

The man of God came up to the king of Israel again. He told him,“ The Lord says,‘ The men of Aram think the Lord is a god of the hills. They do not think he is a god of the valleys. So I, the Lord, will hand their huge army over to you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

And a man of God came near and said to the king of Israel,“ Thus says the Lord,‘ Because the Syrians have said,“ The Lord is a god of the hills but he is not a god of the valleys,” therefore I will give all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

Then the man of God went to the king of Israel and said,“ This is what the Lord says: The Arameans have said,‘ The Lord is a god of the hills and not of the plains.’ So I will defeat this vast army for you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

Then the man of God approached and said to the king of Israel,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Because the Arameans have said,“ The LORD is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will hand over all this whole huge army to you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

Then a man of God approached and spoke to the king of Israel, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Since the Arameans have said,“ The Lord is a god of mountains, but He is not a god of valleys,” therefore I will hand over to you all this great multitude, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’ ”

Then a man of God came and spoke to the king of Israel, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Because the Syrians have said,“ The Lord is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys,” therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

And a man of God came near and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, Because the Syrians have said, Jehovah is a god of the hills, but he is not a god of the valleys; therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thy hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

Then the man of God approached and said to the king of Israel,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Because the Arameans have said: Yahweh is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys, I will hand over all this great army to you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD[ is] God of the hills, but he[ is] not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

The prophet visited the king of Israel and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Because the Syrians said,“ The LORD is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will hand over to you this entire huge army. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

A man of God came near and spoke to the king of Israel, and said,“ Yahweh says,‘ Because the Syrians have said,“ Yahweh is a god of the hills, but he is not a god of the valleys;” therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am Yahweh.’”

這時，忽然有一個先知前來見以色列王亞哈，說：“耶和華這樣說：‘你看見這些強大的軍兵嗎？看啊，今天我必把他們交在你手裡，你就知道我是耶和華。’”

於是婦人對以利亞說：“神人哪，我跟你有甚麼關係呢？你竟到我這裡來，使耶和華想起我的罪孽，殺死我的兒子。”

你們就知道我是耶和華。這是因為你們沒有遵行我的律例，也沒有遵守我的典章，卻效法你們周圍列國的習俗去行。’”

我必伸手攻擊他們，使他們一切居住的地方，從曠野到第伯拉他，都變成非常荒涼，他們就知道我是耶和華。”

主啊！以色列人既然在仇敵面前轉身逃跑，我還有甚麼可說的呢？迦南人和這地所有的居民聽見了，就必圍困我們，把我們的名字從這世上剪除，那時你為你的大名要怎樣行呢？”

我向埃及伸手，把以色列人從他們中間領出來的時候，埃及人就必知道我是耶和華。”

我卻顧惜我的聖名，就是以色列家在他們所去的列邦那裡所褻瀆的。“因此，你要對以色列家說：‘主耶和華這樣說：以色列家啊！我作這事，不是為了你們，而是為了我自己的聖名，就是在你們所去的列邦那裡所褻瀆的，我要使我的大名顯為聖，這名在列邦中已經被褻瀆了，是你們在他們中間所褻瀆的。我在你們身上向他們顯為聖的時候，他們就知道我是耶和華。這是主耶和華的宣告。

你們要知道我這樣行，不是為了你們的緣故；以色列家啊！你們要因自己的行為抱愧蒙羞。這是主耶和華的宣告。

那先知前來見以色列王，對他說：“你要自強，留意看看你所要預備的，因為明年春天亞蘭王必再上來攻擊你。”亞蘭王的臣僕對亞蘭王說：“以色列人的神是山神，所以他們比我們強；但我們若是在平原上與他們爭戰，我們必比他們強大。

然而我卻要留下他們少數的人，免受刀劍、饑荒和瘟疫之害，好使他們在所到的列國中，述說他們一切可憎惡的事，他們就知道我是耶和華。”

他有大能與智謀，受騙的與騙人的，都是屬他的。他把謀士剝衣擄去，並且愚弄審判官。他解開了君王綁人的繩索，又用腰布捆綁君王的腰。他把祭司剝衣擄去，傾覆有權有勢的人。

那日，我必把我人民居住的地方歌珊分別出來，使那裡沒有蒼蠅，為要使你知道在全地上只有我是耶和華。

因為你向我發烈怒，又因你的狂傲達到我耳中，我要把鈎子放進你的鼻孔，把嚼環放進你的嘴裡，使你從你來的路上回去。希西家啊！這要作你的兆頭：今年你們要吃自生的，明年還要吃自長的，後年你們就要撒種，要收割，要栽種葡萄園，吃園中的果子。猶大家所逃脫的餘民，必再向下扎根，往上結果。因為餘下的人必從耶路撒冷出來，逃脫的人必從錫安山出來。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必作成這事。’所以耶和華這樣論到亞述王，說：‘他必不會來到這城，也不會在這裡射箭；不會拿著盾牌來到城前，也不會築土壘攻城。他從哪條路來，也必從哪條路回去；他必不得進入這城；這是耶和華的宣告。因我為自己的緣故，又為我僕人大衛的緣故，必保護這城，拯救這城。’”於是耶和華的使者出去，在亞述營中擊殺了十八萬五千人；到了早晨，有人起來，所見的都是死屍。亞述王西拿基立就拔營離去，返回本地，住在尼尼微。

我要以你們作我的人民，我也要作你們的神；你們要知道我是耶和華你們的神，是把你們從埃及人的重擔底下救出來的。

義人看見仇敵遭報就歡喜；他要在惡人的血中洗自己的腳。因此，人必說：“義人果然有善報；在世上確有一位施行審判的神。”

“耶和華啊！即使我們的罪孽指證我們，還求你因你名的緣故施行拯救。我們實在多次背道，得罪了你。

但我懼怕仇人激動我，恐怕敵人誤會了，又恐怕他們說：“是我們的手高舉了，並不是耶和華作了這一切事。”’

為甚麼容外族人說：“他們的神在哪裡呢？”願我們親眼看見你在列邦中，使人知道你要為你僕人所流的血伸冤。

飯你們沒有吃，清酒或烈酒你們沒有喝，這是要使你們知道耶和華是你們的神。

然而我為了我名的緣故沒有這樣作，免得我的名在他們寄居的列國的人眼中被褻瀆，我把他們從埃及地領出來，在列國的人眼前向他們顯現。

當時，耶和華的靈在會眾中臨到利未人亞薩的後裔，瑪探雅的玄孫、耶利的曾孫、比拿雅的孫子、撒迦利亞的兒子雅哈悉；他就說：“全猶大的人、耶路撒冷的居民和約沙法王啊，你們要留意！耶和華這樣對你們說：‘你們不要因這大軍懼怕和驚慌，因為戰爭的勝負不是在於你們，而是在於神。明天你們要下去攻擊他們，他們會從洗斯的斜坡上來，你們必在耶魯伊勒曠野東面的谷口遇見他們。猶大人和耶路撒冷人哪，這次你們不必出戰，只要穩守陣地，站立不動，看耶和華為你們施行的拯救。’你們不要懼怕，也不要驚慌；明天要出去攻擊他們，耶和華必和你們同在。”於是約沙法面伏於地，全猶大的人和耶路撒冷的居民都俯伏在耶和華面前，敬拜耶和華。哥轄子孫中和可拉子孫中的利未人，都站起來高聲讚美耶和華以色列的神。第二天早晨，眾人清早起來，出發到提哥亞的曠野去；他們正出去的時候，約沙法站起來，說：“猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你們要聽我的話；信靠耶和華你們的神，你們就必堅立；信靠他的先知，你們就必亨通。”

“‘我要在我子民以色列中彰顯我的聖名，我必不再讓我的聖名被褻瀆；這樣，列國就知道我是耶和華，是以色列中的聖者。

然而我為了我名的緣故沒有這樣作，免得我的名在列國的人眼中被褻瀆；我曾在他們眼前把以色列人領出來。

有一個神人，奉耶和華的命令，從猶大來到伯特利；那時，耶羅波安正站在祭壇旁邊燒香。
