誰有禍患？誰有災難？誰有紛爭？誰有焦慮？誰無故受傷？誰的眼目紅赤？就是那流連飲酒的人，常去尋找調和的酒。酒發紅，在杯中閃爍時，你不可觀看；雖下咽舒暢，終究它必咬你如蛇，刺你如毒蛇。

若有人攻擊你，這非出於我；凡攻擊你的，必因你仆倒。

淫亂。酒和新酒奪去人的心。

邦國啊，你的君王若年少，你的羣臣早晨宴樂，你就有禍了！邦國啊，你的君王若是貴族之子，你的羣臣按時吃喝，是為強身，不為酒醉，你就有福了！

耶和華的話臨到哈拿尼的兒子耶戶先知，責備巴沙和他的家，因他行耶和華眼中看為惡的一切事，以他手所做的惹耶和華發怒，像耶羅波安的家一樣，又因他殺了耶羅波安全家。
