Suddenly a prophet approached Ahab king of Israel, saying,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into your hand today, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

這時忽有一個神言人走近前來見以色列王亞哈說：『這一大隊蜂擁軍兵你不是都看見了麼？看吧，今天我必將他們交在你手裏，你就知道我乃是永恆主。』

有先知進見以色列王亞哈曰、耶和華云、此羣眾、爾見之乎、今日我必付於爾手、爾則知我乃耶和華、

有先知覲以色列王亞哈曰、耶和華云、此實繁有徒者、爾見之乎、今日我必付於爾手、使爾知我乃耶和華。

有先知至以色列王亞哈前、曰、主如是云、此大軍旅、爾見之乎、今日我必付於爾手、使爾知我乃主、

Meanwhile a prophet came to Ahab king of Israel and announced,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

During that time a prophet came to Ahab, the king of Israel. He announced,“ The Lord says,‘ Do you see this huge army? I will hand it over to you today. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

And behold, a prophet came near to Ahab king of Israel and said,“ Thus says the Lord, Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will give it into your hand this day, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

Then a certain prophet came to see King Ahab of Israel and told him,“ This is what the Lord says: Do you see all these enemy forces? Today I will hand them all over to you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

A prophet approached King Ahab of Israel and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Do you see this whole huge army? Watch, I am handing it over to you today so that you may know that I am the LORD.’”

Now behold, a prophet approached Ahab king of Israel, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I am going to hand them over to you today, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’ ”

And, behold, a prophet came near unto Ahab king of Israel, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thy hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.

A prophet came to Ahab king of Israel and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Do you see this entire great army? Watch, I am handing it over to you today so that you may know that I am Yahweh.’”

And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I[ am] the LORD.

Now a prophet visited King Ahab of Israel and said,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ Do you see this huge army? Look, I am going to hand it over to you this very day. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

Behold, a prophet came near to Ahab king of Israel, and said,“ Yahweh says,‘ Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into your hand today. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’”

Then a man of God came and spoke to the king of Israel, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Because the Syrians have said,“ The Lord is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys,” therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

Now it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to make war against it, but could not prevail against it.And it was told to the house of David, saying,“ Syria’s forces are deployed in Ephraim.” So his heart and the heart of his people were moved as the trees of the woods are moved with the wind.Then the Lord said to Isaiah,“ Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-Jashub your son, at the end of the aqueduct from the upper pool, on the highway to the Fuller’s Field,and say to him:‘ Take heed, and be quiet; do not fear or be fainthearted for these two stubs of smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and the son of Remaliah.Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah have plotted evil against you, saying,“ Let us go up against Judah and trouble it, and let us make a gap in its wall for ourselves, and set a king over them, the son of Tabel”—thus says the Lord GOD:“ It shall not stand, Nor shall it come to pass.For the head of Syria is Damascus, And the head of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty-five years Ephraim will be broken, So that it will not be a people.The head of Ephraim is Samaria, And the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you will not believe, Surely you shall not be established.”’”

Now therefore, O Lord our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord, You alone.”

Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”

But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out.

Nevertheless I withdrew My hand and acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out.

“ So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, And no aliens shall ever pass through her again.”

“ I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying,‘ At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’”

The slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said,“ Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”

But the Lord was gracious to them, had compassion on them, and regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not yet destroy them or cast them from His presence.

Now the king of Syria was making war against Israel; and he consulted with his servants, saying,“ My camp will be in such and such a place.”And the man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying,“ Beware that you do not pass this place, for the Syrians are coming down there.”Then the king of Israel sent someone to the place of which the man of God had told him. Thus he warned him, and he was watchful there, not just once or twice.Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing; and he called his servants and said to them,“ Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?”And one of his servants said,“ None, my Lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

Then Elisha said,“ Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord:‘ Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’”

That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.
