除去王面前的惡人，他的國位就靠公義而堅立。

永恆主堅立了我，使我坐我父親大衛的王位，照所應許的話為我建立了王室；現在我指着永活的永恆主來起誓；就在今天、亞多尼雅就必須被處死。』

故此流這二人之血的罪總要歸到約押頭上、和他後裔頭上到永遠；而大衛和他的後裔、他的家和他的王位、卻要從永恆主那裏得平安到永遠。』於是耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅上去，擊殺了約押，將他殺死，給埋葬在曠野約押自己的宅地裏。

因為有一個孩子給我們生下來，有一個兒子賜給我們；有政權在他肩頭上；他的名稱為「神奇謀士，神威勇士，永恆之父，泰平之君。」他的政權宏大，他的泰平無窮，在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義堅立而支持它，從今時直到永遠。萬軍之永恆主的熱心必成就這事。

願他的名存到永遠，願他的名長立於日光之下；願人都用他的名而給自己祝福；願萬國都稱他為有福。

你將永久的洪福分配給他；又使他以你面前的歡喜而快樂。

是他要為我的名建殿，我必堅立他的國位、到永遠。
