王又對示每說：「你向我父親大衛所做的一切惡事，你自己心裏都知道，耶和華必使你的罪惡歸到你自己的頭上。

王又說：「你以前如何惡待我父大衛，你自己心裡明白，現在耶和華要追究你的罪行了。

王又對示每說：“你自己知道你心裡的一切惡事，就是你向我父親大衛所行的；現在耶和華要把你的罪歸到你的頭上。

王又對示每說：『你自己知道你對我父親大衛所行過的一切壞事、你心裏知道永恆主必使你作的壞事都歸到你自己頭上。

又曰、昔爾行於我父大衛之惡、爾心所存、爾悉知之、今耶和華必使爾惡、歸於爾首、

又曰、昔爾以惡待我父大闢、爾心所知、今耶和華必因是惡而報施焉。

王又謂示每曰、昔爾以惡待我父大衛、爾心所知、今主因爾此惡、使罪歸於爾首、

The king also said to Shimei,“ You know in your heart all the wrong you did to my father David. Now the Lord will repay you for your wrongdoing.

The king continued,“ You know all the wrong things you did to my father David. In your heart you know them. Now the Lord will pay you back for what you did.

The king also said to Shimei,“ You know in your own heart all the harm that you did to David my father. So the Lord will bring back your harm on your own head.

The king also said to Shimei,“ You certainly remember all the wicked things you did to my father, David. May the Lord now bring that evil on your own head.

The king also said,“ You yourself know all the evil that you did to my father David. Therefore, the LORD has brought back your evil on your head,

The king also said to Shimei,“ You yourself know all the evil that you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your evil on your own head.

The king said moreover to Shimei,“ You know, as your heart acknowledges, all the wickedness that you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your wickedness on your own head.

The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thy heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore Jehovah shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head.

The king also said,“ You yourself know all the evil that you did to my father David. Therefore, the Lord has brought back your evil on your head,

Then the king said to Shimei,“ You are well aware of the way you mistreated my father David. The LORD will punish you for what you did.

The king said moreover to Shimei,“ You know in your heart all the wickedness that you did to David my father. Therefore Yahweh will return your wickedness on your own head.

大衛王到了巴戶琳，看哪，有一個人從那裏出來，是掃羅家族中基拉的兒子，名叫示每。他一面走一面咒罵，又向大衛王和王的眾臣僕扔石頭；眾百姓和勇士都在王的左右。示每這樣咒罵說：「你這好流人血的，你這無賴，滾吧！滾吧！你流了掃羅全家的血，接續他作王，耶和華把這罪歸在你身上。耶和華將這國交在你兒子押沙龍的手中。看哪，你咎由自取，因為你是好流人血的人。」洗魯雅的兒子亞比篩對王說：「這死狗為何咒罵我主我王呢？讓我過去，割下他的頭來。」王說：「洗魯雅的兒子，我與你們有何相干呢？他這樣咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他：『你要咒罵大衛。』如此，誰敢說：『你為甚麼這樣做呢？』」大衛又對亞比篩和眾臣僕說：「看哪，我親生的兒子尚且尋索我的性命，何況現在這便雅憫人呢？由他咒罵吧！因為這是耶和華吩咐他的。或者耶和華見我遭難，因我今日被這人咒罵而向我施恩。」於是大衛和他的人在路上走。示每走在大衛對面的山坡，一面走一面咒罵，又向他扔石頭，揚起塵土。

他的毒害必回到自己頭上，他的殘暴必落到自己的腦袋上。

大衛聽見拿八死了，就說：「耶和華是應當稱頌的，因為我從拿八手中受了羞辱，他為我伸冤，又阻止他的僕人行惡；耶和華使拿八的惡歸到他自己頭上。」於是大衛派人去向亞比該說，要娶她為妻。

所以主耶和華如此說：我指着我的永生起誓，他既輕看我的誓言，背棄我的約，我必使這罪歸到他頭上。

耶和華必使約押的血歸到他自己頭上，因為他擊殺兩個比他又公義又良善的人，就是尼珥的兒子以色列的元帥押尼珥和益帖的兒子猶大的元帥亞瑪撒，用刀殺了他們，我父親大衛卻不知道。這二人的血必歸到約押和他後裔頭上，直到永遠；惟有大衛和他的後裔，以及他的家與王位，必從耶和華那裏得平安，直到永遠。」

他們聽見這話，從老的開始，一個一個都走開了，只剩下耶穌一人和那仍然站在中間的女人。

將來百姓所受的，祭司也必承受；我必因他們所行的懲罰他們，照他們所做的報應他們。

即使我們的心責備自己，神比我們的心大，他知道一切。

他們顯明律法的功用刻在他們心裏，他們的良心一同作證－他們的內心掙扎，有時自責，有時為自己辯護。

惡人被自己的罪孽抓住，被自己罪惡的繩索纏繞。
