The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head;

王又对示每说：“你向我父亲大卫所行的一切恶事，你自己心里也知道，所以耶和华必使你的罪恶归到自己的头上；

王又对示每说：“你向我父亲大卫所做的一切恶事，你自己心里都知道，耶和华必使你的罪恶归到你自己的头上。

王又对示每说：“你向我父亲大卫所做的一切恶事，你自己心里都知道，耶和华必使你的罪恶归到你自己的头上。

王又说：“你以前如何恶待我父大卫，你自己心里明白，现在耶和华要追究你的罪行了。

王又对示每说：“你自己知道你心里的一切恶事，就是你向我父亲大卫所行的；现在耶和华要把你的罪归到你的头上。

王又對示每說：「你向我父親大衛所行的一切惡事，你自己心裏也知道，所以耶和華必使你的罪惡歸到自己的頭上；

王又對示每說：「你向我父親大衛所做的一切惡事，你自己心裏都知道，耶和華必使你的罪惡歸到你自己的頭上。

王又對示每說：「你向我父親大衛所做的一切惡事，你自己心裏都知道，耶和華必使你的罪惡歸到你自己的頭上。

王又說：「你以前如何惡待我父大衛，你自己心裡明白，現在耶和華要追究你的罪行了。

王又對示每說：“你自己知道你心裡的一切惡事，就是你向我父親大衛所行的；現在耶和華要把你的罪歸到你的頭上。

王又對示每說：『你自己知道你對我父親大衛所行過的一切壞事、你心裏知道永恆主必使你作的壞事都歸到你自己頭上。

又曰、昔爾行於我父大衛之惡、爾心所存、爾悉知之、今耶和華必使爾惡、歸於爾首、

又曰、昔爾以惡待我父大闢、爾心所知、今耶和華必因是惡而報施焉。

王又謂示每曰、昔爾以惡待我父大衛、爾心所知、今主因爾此惡、使罪歸於爾首、

The king also said to Shimei,“ You know in your heart all the wrong you did to my father David. Now the Lord will repay you for your wrongdoing.

The king continued,“ You know all the wrong things you did to my father David. In your heart you know them. Now the Lord will pay you back for what you did.

The king also said to Shimei,“ You know in your own heart all the harm that you did to David my father. So the Lord will bring back your harm on your own head.

The king also said to Shimei,“ You certainly remember all the wicked things you did to my father, David. May the Lord now bring that evil on your own head.

The king also said,“ You yourself know all the evil that you did to my father David. Therefore, the LORD has brought back your evil on your head,

The king also said to Shimei,“ You yourself know all the evil that you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your evil on your own head.

The king said moreover to Shimei,“ You know, as your heart acknowledges, all the wickedness that you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your wickedness on your own head.

The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thy heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore Jehovah shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head.

The king also said,“ You yourself know all the evil that you did to my father David. Therefore, the Lord has brought back your evil on your head,

Then the king said to Shimei,“ You are well aware of the way you mistreated my father David. The LORD will punish you for what you did.

The king said moreover to Shimei,“ You know in your heart all the wickedness that you did to David my father. Therefore Yahweh will return your wickedness on your own head.

And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name[ was] Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men[ were] on his right hand and on his left.And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial:The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou[ art taken] in thy mischief, because thou[ art] a bloody man.Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now[ may this] Benjamite[ do it]? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill’s side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.

His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed[ be] the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;[ As] I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing[ thereof, to wit], Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the LORD.

And they which heard[ it], being convicted by[ their own] conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest,[ even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and[ their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
