王就打發人將示每召了來，對他說：『我豈不是叫你指着永恆主來起誓，我並且警告你說：「你要切實知道你哪一天出去到任何別的地方，你哪一天就必須死」，而你也對我說過：「這話很好，我聽從就是」麼？

王就差遣人将示每召了来，对他说：“我岂不是叫你指着耶和华起誓，并且警戒你说‘你当确实地知道，你哪日出来往别处去，那日必死’吗？你也对我说：‘这话甚好，我必听从。’

王就派人召示每来，对他说：“我岂不是叫你指着耶和华起誓，并且警告你说‘你当确实知道，你何日出来到任何地方去，就必定死’吗？你也对我说：‘这话很好，我必听从。’

就派人召来示每，问道：“我不是叫你凭耶和华起誓不离开耶路撒冷吗？我警告过你，你哪天离开这里，哪天必死无疑。当时你也同意。

王就派人把示每召来，对他说：“我不是叫你指着耶和华起誓，并且警告你：‘你必须知道，你哪一天出去到任何别的地方，你哪一天就要死’吗？你也对我说过：‘这话很好，我必听从。’

王就差遣人將示每召了來，對他說：「我豈不是叫你指着耶和華起誓，並且警戒你說『你當確實地知道，你哪日出來往別處去，那日必死』嗎？你也對我說：『這話甚好，我必聽從。』

就派人召來示每，問道：「我不是叫你憑耶和華起誓不離開耶路撒冷嗎？我警告過你，你哪天離開這裡，哪天必死無疑。當時你也同意。

王就派人把示每召來，對他說：“我不是叫你指著耶和華起誓，並且警告你：‘你必須知道，你哪一天出去到任何別的地方，你哪一天就要死’嗎？你也對我說過：‘這話很好，我必聽從。’

王遣人召之曰、我非使爾指耶和華而誓、又戒爾云、當知爾出而他往、其日必死乎、爾對曰、我所聞者善也、

王召之曰、我曾使爾指耶和華而發誓、又戒爾云、如爾出外遨遊、當日必死。爾對曰、所言甚善、是事非有之乎。

王遣人召示每、謂之曰、我曾使爾指主發誓、又戒爾云、當知爾離爾家、出而何往、其日必死、爾對我云、所言甚善、我必聽從、

the king summoned Shimei and said to him,“ Did I not make you swear by the Lord and warn you,‘ On the day you leave to go anywhere else, you can be sure you will die’? At that time you said to me,‘ What you say is good. I will obey.’

So the king sent for Shimei. He said to him,“ Didn’t I force you to make a promise in the name of the Lord? Didn’t I warn you? I said,‘ You must not leave the city and go somewhere else. If you do, you can be sure you will die.’ At that time you said to me,‘ What you say is good. I’ll obey your command.’

the king sent and summoned Shimei and said to him,“ Did I not make you swear by the Lord and solemnly warn you, saying,‘ Know for certain that on the day you go out and go to any place whatever, you shall die’? And you said to me,‘ What you say is good; I will obey.’

So the king sent for Shimei and demanded,“ Didn’t I make you swear by the Lord and warn you not to go anywhere else or you would surely die? And you replied,‘ The sentence is fair; I will do as you say.’

So the king summoned Shimei and said to him,“ Didn’t I make you swear by the LORD and warn you, saying,‘ On the day you leave and go anywhere else, know for sure that you will certainly die’? And you said to me,‘ The sentence is fair; I will obey.’

So the king sent men and summoned Shimei, and said to him,“ Did I not make you swear by the Lord, and solemnly warn you, saying,‘ Know for certain that on the day you depart and go anywhere, you shall assuredly die’? And you said to me,‘ The word I have heard is good.’

Then the king sent and called for Shimei, and said to him,“ Did I not make you swear by the Lord, and warn you, saying,‘ Know for certain that on the day you go out and travel anywhere, you shall surely die’? And you said to me,‘ The word I have heard is good.’

And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not adjure thee by Jehovah, and protest unto thee, saying, Know for certain, that on the day thou goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst unto me, The saying that I have heard is good.

So the king summoned Shimei and said to him,“ Didn’t I make you swear by the Lord and warn you, saying,‘ On the day you leave and go anywhere else, know for sure that you will certainly die’? And you said to me,‘ The sentence is fair; I will obey.’

And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not make thee to swear by the LORD, and protested unto thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the day thou goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst unto me, The word[ that] I have heard[ is] good.

the king summoned Shimei and said to him,“ You will recall that I made you take an oath by the LORD, and I solemnly warned you,‘ If you ever leave and go anywhere, know for sure that you will certainly die.’ You said to me,‘ The proposal is acceptable; I agree to it.’

The king sent and called for Shimei, and said to him,“ Didn’t I adjure you by Yahweh, and warn you, saying,‘ Know for certain, that on the day you go out, and walk anywhere else, you shall surely die?’ You said to me,‘ The saying that I have heard is good.’

父親卻吩咐他的僕人說：「快把上好的袍子拿出來給他穿上，把戒指戴在他指頭上，把鞋穿在他腳上；

主人對他說：「惡奴僕，我要憑你的口定你的罪。你知道我是嚴厲的人，沒有放下的、就要拿取；沒有撒種的、就要收割麼？

他眼中看匪類當被藐視，但敬畏永恆主的人、他卻尊重；他起了誓，雖自己喫虧、也不更改；

王打發人將示每召來，對他說：『你要在耶路撒冷建造房屋，住在那裏；不可出那裏、到任何別的地方去。你要確實知道：你哪一天出來、過汲淪谿谷，你哪一天就必須死；流你血的罪就歸到你自己頭上。』示每對王說：『這話很好；我主我王怎麼說，你僕人就怎麼作好啦。』於是示每住在耶路撒冷許多日子。
