that the Lord may fulfill His word which He spoke concerning me, saying,‘ If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul,’ He said,‘ you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’

耶和华必成就向我所应许的话说：‘你的子孙若谨慎自己的行为，尽心尽意诚诚实实地行在我面前，就不断人坐以色列的国位。’

耶和华必成就他所说关于我的话，说：‘你的子孙若谨慎自己的行为，尽心尽意凭信实行在我面前，就不断有人坐以色列的王位。’

耶和华必成就他所说关于我的话，说：‘你的子孙若谨慎自己的行为，尽心尽意凭信实行在我面前，就不断有人坐以色列的王位。’

耶和华必履行给我的应许，祂对我说，‘如果你的子孙谨慎自守，忠心地事奉我，你的王朝必世代相传。’

這樣、永恆主就必堅立他的話、就是他所應許關於我的話、說：「你的子孫若謹慎他們所行的路，全心全意忠誠誠地行於我面前，那麼、你的子孫就不斷有人坐以色列的王位了。」

致耶和華應其指我所言曰、若爾子孫、慎其道途、一心一意行於我前、真實無妄、則爾必不乏人、踐以色列國位、

昔耶和華有應許、若我子孫所為謹恪、一心一意行於其前、真實毋妄、則不絶我嗣、踐以色列國位。如爾恪守斯命、則其前言必不食也。

主亦必踐向我所應許之言、主曾應許我曰、如爾子孫謹慎其道、盡心盡意、誠實無妄、行於我前、則將繼爾坐以色列國位、永遠不絕、

and that the Lord may keep his promise to me:‘ If your descendants watch how they live, and if they walk faithfully before me with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

The Lord will keep the promise he made to me. He said,‘ Your sons must be careful about how they live. They must be faithful to me with all their heart and soul. Then you will always have a son from your family line to sit on the throne of Israel.’

that the Lord may establish his word that he spoke concerning me, saying,‘ If your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me in faithfulness with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’

If you do this, then the Lord will keep the promise he made to me. He told me,‘ If your descendants live as they should and follow me faithfully with all their heart and soul, one of them will always sit on the throne of Israel.’

and so that the LORD will fulfill his promise that he made to me:‘ If your sons take care to walk faithfully before me with all their heart and all their soul, you will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’

so that the Lord may fulfill His promise which He spoke regarding me, saying,‘ If your sons are careful about their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and all their soul, you shall not be deprived of a man to occupy the throne of Israel.’

that Jehovah may establish his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee( said he) a man on the throne of Israel.

and so that the Lord will carry out His promise that He made to me:‘ If your sons are careful to walk faithfully before Me with their whole mind and heart, you will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’

That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee( said he) a man on the throne of Israel.

and the LORD will fulfill his promise to me,‘ If your descendants watch their step and live faithfully in my presence with all their heart and being, then,’ he promised,‘ you will not fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

Then Yahweh may establish his word which he spoke concerning me, saying,‘ If your children are careful of their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you,’ he said,‘ a man on the throne of Israel.’

Therefore, Lord God of Israel, now keep what You promised Your servant David my father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man sit before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as you have walked before Me.’

“ Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

“ Now, O Lord God, the word which You have spoken concerning Your servant and concerning his house, establish it forever and do as You have said.

‘ And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Now the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the former ways of his father David; he did not seek the Baals,

Now before him there was no king like him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; nor after him did any arise like him.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Jesus said to him,“‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.

“ As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you.And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.”’”According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.

since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. Also the Lord tells you that He will make you a house.“ When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.”’”

So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”

“ Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’

“ As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

His seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.“ If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,If they break My statutes And do not keep My commandments,Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail.My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David:His seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me;It shall be established forever like the moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah

For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

‘ If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,

Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around. His name shall be Solomon, for I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son, and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’Now, my son, may the Lord be with you; and may you prosper, and build the house of the Lord your God, as He has said to you.

And of all my sons( for the Lord has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.Now He said to me,‘ It is your son Solomon who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he is steadfast to observe My commandments and My judgments, as it is this day.’

For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

“ And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

Then the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant before the Lord, to follow the Lord and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people took a stand for the covenant.

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

and he said:“ Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts.

The Lord has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it:“ I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.If your sons will keep My covenant And My testimony which I shall teach them, Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore.”

For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
