大闢王至巴戶林、有掃羅族、其喇子示每出、且行且詛、石擊大闢、及王左右臣僕、民眾武士。示每詛曰、汝乃殘忍之子、行惡之人、速去勿遲。爾戮掃羅全家、移其國祚、今耶和華已報其仇、以爾國位、與子押沙龍、惟爾殘忍、自取咎戾。西魯雅子亞庇篩告王曰、彼猶已斃之犬、詛我主我王、曷故、我請往斬其首。

押沙龍居耶路撒冷二年、未能覿王。

王曰、可歸私第、毋覿我面。押沙龍旋歸、不與王相見。

王坐鞫民、見惡人則擯斥之。
