May the guilt of their blood rest on the head of Joab and his descendants forever. But on David and his descendants, his house and his throne, may there be the Lord’s peace forever.”

May Joab and his children after him be held forever accountable for spilling the blood of Abner and Amasa. But may David and his children after him enjoy the Lord’ s peace and rest forever. May the Lord also give his peace to David’s royal house and kingdom forever.”

So shall their blood come back on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever. But for David and for his descendants and for his house and for his throne there shall be peace from the Lord forevermore.”

May their blood be on Joab and his descendants forever, and may the Lord grant peace forever to David, his descendants, his dynasty, and his throne.”

The responsibility for their deaths will come back to Joab and to his descendants forever, but for David, his descendants, his dynasty, and his throne, there will be peace from the LORD forever.”

May Joab and his descendants be perpetually guilty of their shed blood, but may the LORD give perpetual peace to David, his descendants, his family, and his dynasty.”

So their blood will return on the head of Joab, and on the head of his offspring forever. But for David, for his offspring, for his house, and for his throne, there will be peace forever from Yahweh.”

彼刃擊二人、較己尤善、即以色列族軍長尼耳子押尼耳、猶大族軍長益帖子亞馬撒、我父大闢不之知也、今耶和華必以是罪歸之。

王擯惡人、國位以立。

克昌厥後、至於恆久、國祚永綏、與天同休兮、

如爾子孫恪守我約、遵從我命、則必昌熾爾後、綿長厥祚兮。

將妊而生子、命名耶穌、彼將為大、稱至上者之子、主上帝子以厥祖大闢之位、永為雅各一家主、其國靡暨、

上則榮歸上帝、下則和平、人沐恩澤矣、

庶民對曰、其血歸我及子孫矣、

願惡人制之、寇讎迫之兮、彼若受鞫、願定其罪、彼若祈禱、反以為惡兮、其生之日、願爾絕之、其督之職、他人任之兮、寡其妻、孤其子、俾其後嗣、瑣尾流離、恆為乞人、居處荒寂、丐食遠方兮、願貸金者、取其所有、異邦之民、攘其物產兮、願無人矜憫之、不撫恤厥孤兮、必絕其嗣、名弗稱於後世兮、厥祖行惡、顧耶和華念之、其母不善、毋宥之兮、願耶和華念其愆尤、使天下之人、不齒其名兮、

大闢聞之曰、尼耳子押尼耳見殺、我與我民永無辜、耶和華為證。罪歸約押、與其父家、願約押全家、或患白濁、或患癩疾、或扶杖而行、或殞沒於刃、或飲食匱乏、代有其人、相繼不絕。

故乃慢之癩、必移於爾、及爾苗裔、歷世勿愈、遂出成癩、皓白如雪。

必永存厥後、綿長厥祚、如日月之升恆、麗於穹蒼、永為確證兮。

子將誕生、上帝所賜、我受其益、彼必負荷國政、其名不一、稱為神妙哲士、全能上帝、永生之主、平康之君、繼大闢之位、其國昌大、長享綏安、保定之、延釐之、維公與正、自今而後、永世靡暨、萬有之主耶和華、必熱中而行之。

耶西之根株、必將萌櫱、耶和華之神賦之、使有智慧、使有謀力、知耶和華之道而寅畏之、知人崇事耶和華之誠偽、不待目見耳聞、而是非悉辨、為困乏與謙遜之人聽訟、秉公行義、作惡者流、必遭箠楚、以辭氣滅之、腰束以誠、腎繫以信、當是時狼與羔同居、豹與羊同群、肥犢獅子同處、三尺之童牧之、牛熊同食、其子共伏、獅將嚙蒭若牛、赤子將玩於蝮巢、方斷乳者、置手於蛇穴、在我聖岡、悉無所害、蓋耶和華之道、遍於天下、若水在海、無往不有。

作惡者早加翦滅、毋俾在耶和華邑兮。
