王也對祭司亞比亞他說：『你往亞拿突、到你自己的田地去吧；你本是該死的人。但今天我不將你殺死，因為你在我父親大衛面前帶過神諭像，又在我父親所受的一切苦難中同受過苦難。』

王对祭司亚比亚他说：“你回亚拿突归自己的田地去吧！你本是该死的，但因你在我父亲大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，又与我父亲同受一切苦难，所以我今日不将你杀死。”

王对亚比亚他祭司说：“你回亚拿突归自己的田地去吧！你本是该死的，但因你在我父亲大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，又与我父亲同受一切苦难，所以我今日不杀死你。”

王对亚比亚他祭司说：“你回亚拿突归自己的田地去吧！你本是该死的，但因你在我父亲大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，又与我父亲同受一切苦难，所以我今日不杀死你。”

王对亚比亚他祭司说：“你回亚拿突的老家去吧。你本是该死的，但我念你在我父大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，曾经与我父亲患难与共，才饶你一命。”

王对亚比亚他祭司说：“你回亚拿突自己的田地去吧！你本来是该死的，但我今天不杀死你，因为你在我父亲大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，又与我父亲同受一切苦难。”

王對祭司亞比亞他說：「你回亞拿突歸自己的田地去吧！你本是該死的，但因你在我父親大衛面前擡過主耶和華的約櫃，又與我父親同受一切苦難，所以我今日不將你殺死。」

王對亞比亞他祭司說：「你回亞拿突歸自己的田地去吧！你本是該死的，但因你在我父親大衛面前抬過主耶和華的約櫃，又與我父親同受一切苦難，所以我今日不殺死你。」

王對亞比亞他祭司說：「你回亞拿突歸自己的田地去吧！你本是該死的，但因你在我父親大衛面前抬過主耶和華的約櫃，又與我父親同受一切苦難，所以我今日不殺死你。」

王對亞比亞他祭司說：「你回亞拿突的老家去吧。你本是該死的，但我念你在我父大衛面前抬過主耶和華的約櫃，曾經與我父親患難與共，才饒你一命。」

王對亞比亞他祭司說：“你回亞拿突自己的田地去吧！你本來是該死的，但我今天不殺死你，因為你在我父親大衛面前抬過主耶和華的約櫃，又與我父親同受一切苦難。”

王謂祭司亞比亞他曰、歸亞拿突、返爾田畝、爾原當死、惟爾在我父大衛前、舁主耶和華之匱、又與我父共苦、此時我不殺爾、

王告祭司亞庇亞塔曰、昔爾舁耶和華上帝之匱、在我父大闢前、恆與我父同憂、今雖當死、我不於此時殺爾、盍歸故土亞拿突。

王謂祭司亞比亞他曰、爾可往亞拿突歸爾田、爾罪當死、因爾昔舁主天主之匱在我父大衛前、恆與我父同受苦難、故我今日不殺爾、

To Abiathar the priest the king said,“ Go back to your fields in Anathoth. You deserve to die, but I will not put you to death now, because you carried the ark of the Sovereign Lord before my father David and shared all my father’s hardships.”

The king spoke to Abiathar the priest. He said,“ Go back to your fields in Anathoth. You should really be put to death. But I won’t have it done now. That’s because you carried the ark of the Lord and King. You did it for my father David. You shared all of his hard times.”

And to Abiathar the priest the king said,“ Go to Anathoth, to your estate, for you deserve death. But I will not at this time put you to death, because you carried the ark of the Lord God before David my father, and because you shared in all my father’s affliction.”

Then the king said to Abiathar the priest,“ Go back to your home in Anathoth. You deserve to die, but I will not kill you now, because you carried the Ark of the Sovereign Lord for David my father and you shared all his hardships.”

The king said to the priest Abiathar,“ Go to your fields in Anathoth. Even though you deserve to die, I will not put you to death today, since you carried the ark of the Lord GOD in the presence of my father David and you suffered through all that my father suffered.”

Then to Abiathar the priest the king said,“ Go to Anathoth to your own field, for you deserve to die; but I will not put you to death at this time, because you carried the ark of the Lord God before my father David, and because you were afflicted in everything with which my father was afflicted.”

And to Abiathar the priest the king said,“ Go to Anathoth, to your own fields, for you are deserving of death; but I will not put you to death at this time, because you carried the ark of the Lord GOD before my father David, and because you were afflicted every time my father was afflicted.”

And unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the Lord Jehovah before David my father, and because thou wast afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.

The king said to Abiathar the priest,“ Go to your fields in Anathoth. Even though you deserve to die, I will not put you to death today, since you carried the ark of the Lord God in the presence of my father David and you suffered through all that my father suffered.”

And unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou[ art] worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.

The king then told Abiathar the priest,“ Go back to your property in Anathoth. You deserve to die, but today I will not kill you because you did carry the ark of the sovereign LORD before my father David and you suffered with my father through all his difficult times.”

To Abiathar the priest the king said,“ Go to Anathoth, to your own fields; for you are worthy of death. But I will not at this time put you to death, because you bore the Lord Yahweh’s ark before David my father, and because you were afflicted in all in which my father was afflicted.”

亞拿突和屬亞拿突的牧場，亞勒們和屬亞勒們的牧場：四座城。

亞希突的兒子亞希米勒有一個兒子名叫亞比亞他溜走了，逃到大衛那裏。亞比亞他將掃羅殺害永恆主祭司的事告訴大衛。大衛就對亞比亞他說：『那一天多益在那裏、我就知道他一定會告訴掃羅的：哎，你父系全家族的性命都是我害死的。你住在我這裏吧；不要懼怕；因為尋索你性命的正在尋索我性命呢；在我這裏、你就可得保全。』

無論何人、為尊門徒的名、只把一杯冷水給這些微小者之一喝，我實在告訴你們，他必定不失掉他的賞報。』

便雅憫地亞拿突城的祭司中、希勒家的兒子耶利米、的言行記在下面。

跟隨他的也有撒督亞比亞他和利未人，抬着上帝的櫃；他們將上帝的櫃放下，在亞比亞他身邊，等着眾民全都從城裏往前走出來。王對撒督說：『你將上帝的櫃抬回城去；我若在永恆主眼前蒙恩，他就會使我回來、再見那櫃和他的居所。倘若他說：「我不喜愛你」，那麼看哪，我在這裏；願他照他所看為好的來待我。』王又對祭司撒督說：『你看明白麼？你和亞比亞他要安心回城裏去；你兒子亞希瑪斯和亞比亞他的兒子約拿單、你們二人的兒子、都要和你們一同回去。至於我呢，看吧，我在曠野的幾個渡口呆着，等有話從你們那裏來告訴我就是。』於是撒督和亞比亞他將上帝的櫃抬回耶路撒冷；他們就住在那裏。

你這樣作很不好啊。我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，你們都該死，因為你們沒有保護你們的主上、永恆主所膏立的。現在你看看王頭旁的矛和水罐在哪裏！』

迦琳的居民哪，發尖銳聲吧！萊煞人哪，留心聽吧！亞拿突啊，向他應聲吧！

大衛將祭司撒督和亞比亞他、跟利未人烏列、亞帥雅、約珥、示瑪雅、以列、亞米拿達、召了來，對他們說：『你們是利未人父系的首長；你們和你們的族弟兄都應當潔淨自己為聖，好將以色列之上帝、永恆主的櫃、接上來到我所給豫備的地方。

亞多尼雅同洗魯雅的兒子約押、和祭司亞比亞他商議；二人附從亞多尼雅，幫助他。

你們是我受試煉中始終同我在一起的；

因為他今天已經下去，宰獻了許多公牛、肥畜、和羊，請了王的眾兒子、和軍長、以及祭司亞比亞他；看哪，他們正在亞多尼雅面前喫喝，說：「願亞多尼雅王萬歲！」呢。

你們受苦這麼多，都是徒然的麼？——如果真是徒然的話，

大衛就大大惱怒那人，對拿單說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，行這事的人是該死的；

亞希米勒的兒子亞比亞他逃到基伊拉去見大衛的時候，是手裏拿着「神諭像」下去的。有人告訴掃羅說：『大衛到了基伊拉了』；掃羅說：『他進了有門有閂的城，自己關閉在裏頭；這是上帝將他交付於我手了。』於是掃羅呼召眾民去赴戰、去下基伊拉、圍困大衛和跟從他的人。大衛知道掃羅設毒計要害他，就對祭司亞比亞他說：『將神諭像拿近前來。』

王就立了耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統領着軍隊來代替約押；王也使祭司撒督代替亞比亞他。
