Then he said,“ Please speak to Solomon the king— for he will not refuse you— that he may give me Abishag the Shunammite as a wife.”

他说：“求你向所罗门王说，请他把书念的女子亚比煞赐给我作妻子，因为他必不会拒绝你。”

他說：「求你請所羅門王將書念的女子亞比煞賜我為妻，因他必不推辭你。」

他說：「求你請所羅門王把書念女子亞比煞賜我為妻，因他必不拒絕你。」

他說：「求你請所羅門王把書念女子亞比煞賜我為妻，因他必不拒絕你。」

他說：「請你求所羅門王將那書念女子雅比莎賜我為妻，他不會拒絕你。」

他說：“求你向所羅門王說，請他把書念的女子亞比煞賜給我作妻子，因為他必不會拒絕你。”

他說：『求你對所羅門王說，將書念的女子亞比煞賜給我為妻；他不會拒絕你的。』

曰、請爾求所羅門王、以書念女亞比煞予我為妻、彼必不拒、

曰、所羅門王、凡事必從爾命、故請爾求之、以書念女亞庇煞、給我為妻。

So he continued,“ Please ask King Solomon— he will not refuse you— to give me Abishag the Shunammite as my wife.”

So he continued,“ Please ask King Solomon for a favor. He won’t say no to you. Ask him to give me Abishag from Shunem to be my wife.”

And he said,“ Please ask King Solomon— he will not refuse you— to give me Abishag the Shunammite as my wife.”

He replied,“ Speak to King Solomon on my behalf, for I know he will do anything you request. Ask him to let me marry Abishag, the girl from Shunem.”

He replied,“ Please speak to King Solomon since he won’t turn you down. Let him give me Abishag the Shunammite as a wife.”

Then he said,“ Please speak to King Solomon, for he will not refuse you, that he may give me Abishag the Shunammite as wife.”

And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king( for he will not say thee nay), that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.

He replied,“ Please speak to King Solomon since he won’t turn you down. Let him give me Abishag the Shunammite as a wife.”

And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king,( for he will not say thee nay,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.

He said,“ Please ask King Solomon if he would give me Abishag the Shunammite as a wife, for he won’t refuse you.”

He said,“ Please speak to Solomon the king( for he will not tell you‘ no’), that he give me Abishag the Shunammite as wife.”

And Saul had a concubine whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah; and Ish bosheth said to Abner,“ Why have you gone in to my father’s concubine?”

I also gave you your master’s house and put your master’s wives into your care, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah; and if that had been too little, I would have added to you many more things like these!

So his servants said to him,“ Have them search for a young virgin for my lord the king, and have her attend the king and become his nurse; and have her lie on your chest, so that my lord the king may keep warm.”So they searched for a beautiful girl throughout the territory of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king.The girl was very beautiful; and she became the king’s nurse and served him, but the king did not become intimate with her.
