Then Solomon sat on the throne of his father David; and his kingdom was firmly established.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, And His enemies will lick the dust.The kings of Tarshish and of the isles Will bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba Will offer gifts.Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him.For He will deliver the needy when he cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper.He will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy.He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; And precious shall be their blood in His sight.And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised.There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, On the top of the mountains; Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon; And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things!And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

If your sons will keep My covenant And My testimony which I shall teach them, Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore.”

Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.All the leaders and the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David, submitted themselves to King Solomon.So the Lord exalted Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.

“ When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, O Lord God, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever.”

Also Solomon sits on the throne of the kingdom.
