遂起飲食、藉其力行四十晝夜、詣上帝之山何烈、

遂起飲食、精力頓增、行歷四旬、晝夜不息、詣上帝之山何烈、

遂起、食而飲、賴此食之力、行四十晝夜、至天主之山何烈、

So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he got up. He ate and drank. The food gave him new strength. He traveled for 40 days and 40 nights. He kept going until he arrived at Horeb. It was the mountain of God.

And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of God.

So he got up and ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to travel forty days and forty nights to Mount Sinai, the mountain of God.

So he got up, ate, and drank. Then on the strength from that food, he walked forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he got up, ate, and drank. Then on the strength from that food, he walked 40 days and 40 nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he got up and ate and drank. That meal gave him the strength to travel forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

摩西在耶和華那裏四十晝夜，不吃飯不喝水。他把這約的話，那十條誡命，寫在版上。

摩西進入雲中，登上了山。摩西在山上四十晝夜。

因為你們所犯的一切罪，做了耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒，我就像從前一樣俯伏在耶和華面前四十晝夜，沒有吃飯，沒有喝水。

摩西牧放他岳父米甸祭司葉特羅的羊羣，他領羊羣往曠野的那一邊去，到了神的山，就是何烈山。

他禁食四十晝夜，後來就餓了。

四十天受魔鬼的試探。在那些日子，他沒有吃甚麼，日子滿了，他餓了。

他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一起，且有天使來伺候他。

西奈山全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降臨山上。山的煙霧上騰，彷彿燒窰，整座山劇烈震動。

「你們當記念我僕人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山為以色列眾人所吩咐他的律例典章。「看哪，耶和華大而可畏之日未到以前，我要差遣以利亞先知到你們那裏去。

過了十天，他們的身材看來比所有享用王膳的少年更加俊美健壯，

他對我說：「我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇耀自己的軟弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。

我上了山，要領受兩塊石版，就是耶和華與你們立約的版。那時我在山上住了四十晝夜，沒有吃飯，也沒有喝水。耶和華把那兩塊石版交給我，是神用指頭寫成的；版上是耶和華在大會的那一天，在山上從火中對你們所說的一切話。過了四十晝夜，耶和華把那兩塊石版，就是約版，交給我。
