遂起飲食、精力頓增、行歷四旬、晝夜不息、詣上帝之山何烈、

遂起、食而飲、賴此食之力、行四十晝夜、至天主之山何烈、

So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he got up. He ate and drank. The food gave him new strength. He traveled for 40 days and 40 nights. He kept going until he arrived at Horeb. It was the mountain of God.

And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of God.

So he got up, ate, and drank. Then on the strength from that food, he walked forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he got up, ate, and drank. Then on the strength from that food, he walked 40 days and 40 nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.

摩西在耶和华那里四十昼夜，不吃饭不喝水。他把这约的话，那十条诫命，写在版上。

摩西进入云中，登上了山。摩西在山上四十昼夜。

因为你们所犯的一切罪，做了耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，我就像从前一样俯伏在耶和华面前四十昼夜，没有吃饭，没有喝水。

摩西牧放他岳父米甸祭司叶特罗的羊群，他领羊群往旷野的那一边去，到了神的山，就是何烈山。

他禁食四十昼夜，后来就饿了。

四十天受魔鬼的试探。在那些日子，他没有吃什么，日子满了，他饿了。

他在旷野四十天，受撒但的试探，并与野兽同在一起，且有天使来伺候他。

西奈山全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降临山上。山的烟雾上腾，仿佛烧窑，整座山剧烈震动。

“你们当记念我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山为以色列众人所吩咐他的律例典章。“看哪，耶和华大而可畏之日未到以前，我要差遣以利亚先知到你们那里去。

过了十天，他们的身材看来比所有享用王膳的少年更加俊美健壮，

他对我说：“我的恩典是够你用的，因为我的能力是在人的软弱上显得完全。”所以，我更喜欢夸耀自己的软弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。

我上了山，要领受两块石版，就是耶和华与你们立约的版。那时我在山上住了四十昼夜，没有吃饭，也没有喝水。耶和华把那两块石版交给我，是神用指头写成的；版上是耶和华在大会的那一天，在山上从火中对你们所说的一切话。过了四十昼夜，耶和华把那两块石版，就是约版，交给我。
