遂起飲食、精力頓增、行歷四旬、晝夜不息、詣上帝之山何烈、

遂起、食而飲、賴此食之力、行四十晝夜、至天主之山何烈、

So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he got up. He ate and drank. The food gave him new strength. He traveled for 40 days and 40 nights. He kept going until he arrived at Horeb. It was the mountain of God.

And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of God.

So he got up and ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to travel forty days and forty nights to Mount Sinai, the mountain of God.

So he got up, ate, and drank. Then on the strength from that food, he walked forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he arose and ate and drank, and he journeyed in the strength of that food for forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

So he got up, ate, and drank. Then on the strength from that food, he walked 40 days and 40 nights to Horeb, the mountain of God.

So he got up and ate and drank. That meal gave him the strength to travel forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

摩西在耶和華那裡待了四十晝夜，沒吃也沒喝。耶和華把約的內容，就是十條誡命，寫在石版上。

摩西上到山上，走進雲中，在那裡停留了四十晝夜。

「我又俯伏在耶和華面前，四十晝夜不吃不喝，因為你們犯了大罪，做耶和華憎惡的事，惹祂發怒。

摩西為岳父米甸祭司葉忒羅放羊。一天他領著羊群穿越曠野，來到上帝的山——何烈山。

耶穌禁食了四十晝夜後，很饑餓。

在那裡受魔鬼的試探四十天。那些日子耶穌什麼也沒吃。那段日子過後，祂餓了。

祂在曠野受撒旦的試探四十天。祂與野獸在一起，有天使服侍祂。

因為耶和華在火中降臨到西奈山，整座山都冒著濃煙，滾滾上騰，好像一個大火窯，整座山都震動起來。

「你們要記住我僕人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山藉著他傳給以色列人的律例和典章。「看啊，在耶和華那偉大而可畏的日子來臨以前，我必差遣以利亞先知到你們那裡。

十天後，但以理和他三個朋友看上去比那些用御膳的青年更俊美健康。

但祂說：「我的恩典足夠你用，因為我的能力在人的軟弱上更顯得全備。」所以，我更喜歡誇耀自己的軟弱，好讓基督的能力蔭庇我。

那時，我上山去接受耶和華與你們立約的石版，在山上待了四十晝夜，不吃也不喝。耶和華把兩塊立約的石版交給我，上面刻著那天你們聚會時祂在山上的火焰中對你們說的話，是祂用手指刻上去的。四十晝夜後，耶和華把那兩塊刻著約的石版交給我，
