他望一望，只見頭旁邊有燒着的石炭烙的餅，又有一罐水，他就喫，就喝，就再躺下。

他观看，见头旁有一瓶水与炭火烧的饼，他就吃了喝了，仍然躺下。

他观看，看哪，头旁有烧热的石头烤的饼和一壶水，他就吃了喝了，又再躺下。

He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.

Elijah looked around. Near his head he saw some bread. It had been baked over hot coals. A jar of water was also there. So Elijah ate and drank. Then he lay down again.

And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again.

He looked around and there beside his head was some bread baked on hot stones and a jar of water! So he ate and drank and lay down again.

Then he looked, and there at his head was a loaf of bread baked over hot stones, and a jug of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again.

And he looked, and, behold, there was at his head a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

Then he looked, and there at his head was a loaf of bread baked over hot stones, and a jug of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again.

And he looked, and, behold,[ there was] a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

He looked and right there by his head was a cake baking on hot coals and a jug of water. He ate and drank and then slept some more.

He looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank, and lay down again.

於是魔鬼離開了耶穌；忽有天使上前來，服事着他。

烏鴉早晨給他叼餅和肉來，晚上也叼餅和肉來；他喝的就是那谿谷裏的水。

『你起身、往西頓的撒勒法去，住在那裏；你就看吧，我吩咐了那裏一個寡婦來供養你。』以利亞就起身、往撒勒法去；到了城門，見有一個寡婦在撿柴。以利亞呼叫她、說：『求你用器皿取點兒水來給我喝好不好？』她去取的時候，以利亞又呼叫她、說：『求你也隨手給我拿點兒餅來好麼？』她說：『我指着永恆主你的永活上帝來起誓：我沒有餅，只有罈內一把麵粉，罐裏一點兒油；你看，我正在撿撿兩根柴，去為自己和兒子作餅；喫了來死，算了。』以利亞對她說：『不要怕；你只管去，照你所說的去作；只要先為我作個小烙餅，拿出來給我，然後去為你和你兒子作。因為永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：「罈內的麵粉決不至於用完，罐裏的油決不至於短缺，直到永恆主降雨在地面上那日子。」』婦人就去，照以利亞所說的去行；她跟以利亞、和她家裏的人、喫了許多日子。

『我憐憫這一羣人，因為他們同我在一起已經三天了，也沒有甚麼喫的。我若解散他們、空着肚子回家去，他們是會在路上暈倒的；況且他們中間還有從遠處來的呢。』

你要倚靠永恆主，要行善；住在地上，安安穩穩地牧放。

他們離開船上了岸，見有一堆炭火生在那裏，有小魚放在上面，又有餅。

於是耶穌對他們說：『小孩子，你們打着了下飯的東西沒有？』他們回答耶穌說：『沒有。』

因為這一切、外國人都切求着；你們的天父知道你們需用這一切。

這樣的人必居於高處；磐石之山寨必做他的高壘；他的糧食必長有供應；他的水源永久可靠。
