日入而晦、有煙似洪爐之煙、並有已燃之火炬、由剖分之牲牷中而過、

忽自天有聲、如烈風迅吹、充滿所坐之室、

有火自主前而降、燬火焚祭與柴與石與塵、並使溝中之水盡涸、

以利亞對五十夫長曰、我果為神人、願火自天降、燬爾及爾之五十人、於是有火自天降、燬五十夫長及其五十人、

是以舉以色列家當確知之、此耶穌、爾所釘於十字架者、天主已立之為主、為基督、○眾聞此言、中心若刺、問彼得及其餘使徒曰、兄弟、我當何為、

二人且行且語、忽有火車火馬、間隔二人、以利亞乘旋風而升天、
