As Obadiah was walking along, Elijah met him. Obadiah recognized him. He bowed down to the ground. He said,“ My master Elijah! Is it really you?”

And as Obadiah was on the way, behold, Elijah met him. And Obadiah recognized him and fell on his face and said,“ Is it you, my lord Elijah?”

As Obadiah was walking along, he suddenly saw Elijah coming toward him. Obadiah recognized him at once and bowed low to the ground before him.“ Is it really you, my lord Elijah?” he asked.

While Obadiah was walking along the road, Elijah suddenly met him. When Obadiah recognized him, he fell facedown and said,“ Is it you, my lord Elijah?”

Now as Obadiah was on the way, behold, Elijah met him, and he recognized him and fell on his face and said,“ Is it you, Elijah my master?”

And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Is it thou, my lord Elijah?

Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”’”The king asked them,“ What kind of man was it who came to meet you and told you this?”They replied,“ He had a garment of hair and had a leather belt around his waist.” The king said,“ That was Elijah the Tishbite.”

After the boy had gone, David got up from the south side of the stone and bowed down before Jonathan three times, with his face to the ground. Then they kissed each other and wept together— but David wept the most.

“ What can we say to my lord?” Judah replied.“ What can we say? How can we prove our innocence? God has uncovered your servants’ guilt. We are now my lord’s slaves— we ourselves and the one who was found to have the cup.”
