Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.

Black clouds filled the sky. The wind came up, and a heavy rain began to fall. Ahab rode off to Jezreel.

And in a little while the heavens grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.

And soon the sky was black with clouds. A heavy wind brought a terrific rainstorm, and Ahab left quickly for Jezreel.

並且立了他作王，統治基列、亞書利、耶斯列、以法蓮、便雅憫和以色列眾人。

於是耶戶登上戰車，往耶斯列去了；因約蘭正在那裡臥病，猶大王亞哈謝下來探望他。

耶斯列人拿伯在耶斯列有一個葡萄園，靠近撒瑪利亞王亞哈的王宮。

他們把掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨埋葬在便雅憫地的洗拉，在掃羅父親基士的墳墓裡。王所吩咐的一切，眾人都行了。這事以後，神垂聽了人們為那地的禱告。

跟著那以色列人，進入臥室，把他們兩人刺透，就是刺透那以色列人和那女子。槍刺進了那女子的肚腹。這樣，在以色列人中的瘟疫才止住。

眾人看見了，就面伏於地，說：“耶和華是神！耶和華是神！”以利亞對他們說：“捉住巴力的先知，一個也不要讓他們逃脫。”於是眾人捉住他們。以利亞帶他們下到基順河邊，在那裡殺了他們。
