跟着那以色列人，进入卧室，把他们两人刺透，就是刺透那以色列人和那女子。枪刺进了那女子的肚腹。这样，在以色列人中的瘟疫才止住。

众人看见了，就面伏于地，说：“耶和华是神！耶和华是神！”以利亚对他们说：“捉住巴力的先知，一个也不要让他们逃脱。”于是众人捉住他们。以利亚带他们下到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。
