At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed:“ Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.

And at the time of the offering of the oblation, Elijah the prophet came near and said,“ O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word.

At the usual time for offering the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet walked up to the altar and prayed,“ O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, prove today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant. Prove that I have done all this at your command.

At the time for offering the evening sacrifice, the prophet Elijah approached the altar and said,“ LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, today let it be known that you are God in Israel and I am your servant, and that at your word I have done all these things.

又曰、我乃爾父之天主、亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、摩西蔽面、不敢觀天主、

自午後至獻晚祭時、切求靈顯、切求靈顯或作偽為感神而言亦無聲響、無應者、無顧者、

求主在天、在主之居所垂聽、循外邦人呼籲於主者而行、使地上萬民、皆知主之名而敬畏主、與主之民以色列人無異、又知我所建之殿、稱為主之殿、或作又知我建斯殿乃為主之名而建之

摩西曰、我行此諸事、乃主遣我行、非由我心意而行、有明證爾必知之、若此人死同於眾人、受罰與他人所受無異、則知主未嘗遣我、若主作一新事、使地啟口、吞此眾與一切所有、致俱生墮於示阿勒、示阿勒有譯陰府見創世記三十七章三十五節小註則可知此人實干犯主怒、干犯主怒或作褻瀆主

曰、有人迎我、告我曰、可返見遣爾之王、告之曰、主如是云、以色列中豈無天主、爾乃遣人往問以革倫之神巴力西卜乎、故主如是云、爾寢於床、不得再下、爾必死矣、

使之明知主名乃耶和華獨為全地至高之主、

求主我列祖亞伯拉罕以撒以色列之天主、使主之民常存如此之心意、使之恆心歸向主、

天主又謂摩西曰、當如是告以色列人云、遣我就爾者乃耶和華、即爾列祖之天主、亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、此乃我恆久之名、歷世之稱、爾往集以色列長老謂之曰、耶和華爾列祖之天主、亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、顯現於我云、我眷顧爾、爾於伊及所受之虐待、或作伊及人待爾如何我已鑒之、

願亞伯拉罕所敬之神、拿鶴所敬之神、及其祖所敬之神、審判於爾我間、雅各指其父以撒所畏之天主而誓、

自去日獻之祭、並設殘賊可惡之物之時、必越一千二百九十日、

是夜、主顯現諭之曰、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之天主、毋懼、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必祐爾、賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、

我知爾常聽我、但我言此、乃為環立之人、使其信遣我者乃爾也、

禱曰、主我列祖之天主、上天之主宰、治理萬邦萬國、主手有大力大能、無人能拒、我之天主歟、在昔將原居斯土之諸族、逐於主之民以色列人前、以斯土賜於敬愛主敬愛主或作主之友亞伯拉罕之苗裔、使為恆業、

我聞一聖者聖者或作聖天使下同言、又有一聖者、問彼言之聖者曰、異象顯示日獻之祭必除、民之罪愆、使毀滅行於國、民之罪愆使毀滅行於國或作施行毀滅者犯大罪愆使聖所與軍旅被蹂躪、其事將至何時、其事將至何時或作此異象應於何時

我必在以色列人中、彰我之聖名、必使我之聖名、不復被褻瀆、異邦人則知我耶和華乃以色列之聖主、

雅各遂禱曰、吾祖亞伯拉罕之天主、吾父以撒之天主耶和華歟、昔命我云、返爾故土故族、我必賜恩於爾、

云我乃亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、天主非死者之天主、乃生者之天主也、

緣此、我屈膝於我主耶穌基督之父前、
