He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them,“ Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”

Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath, and his facial expression was changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego. He answered by giving orders to heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

Jesus* said,“ Remove the stone.” Martha, the sister of the deceased,* said to Him,“ Lord, by this time there will be a stench, for he has been dead four days.”Jesus* said to her,“ Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

He responded,“ Look! I see four men untied and walking about in the middle of the fire unharmed, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!”
