Then Elijah said to the people,“ I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.

Then Elijah said to them,“ I am the only one of the Lord’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets.

Then Elijah said to them,“ I’m the only one of the Lord’ s prophets left. But Baal has 450 prophets.

Then Elijah said to the people,“ I, even I only, am left a prophet of the Lord, but Baal’s prophets are 450 men.

Then Elijah said to them,“ I am the only prophet of the Lord who is left, but Baal has 450 prophets.

Then Elijah said to the people,“ I am the only remaining prophet of the LORD, but Baal’s prophets are 450 men.

Then Elijah said to the people,“ I alone am left as a prophet of the Lord, while Baal’s prophets are 450 men.

Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, am left a prophet of Jehovah; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.

Then Elijah said to the people,“ I am the only remaining prophet of the Lord, but Baal’s prophets are 450 men.

Elijah said to them:“ I am the only prophet of the LORD who is left, but there are 450 prophets of Baal.

Then Elijah said to the people,“ I, even I only, am left as a prophet of Yahweh; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred fifty men.

So he said,“ I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.”

And he said,“ I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.”

So they wore sackcloth around their waists and put ropes around their heads, and came to the king of Israel and said,“ Your servant Ben-Hadad says,‘ Please let me live.’” And he said,“ Is he still alive? He is my brother.”

Now a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his neighbor by the word of the Lord,“ Strike me, please.” And the man refused to strike him.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them,“ Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to fight, or shall I refrain?” So they said,“ Go up, for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.”And Jehoshaphat said,“ Is there not still a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of Him?”So the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the Lord; but I hate him, because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil.” And Jehoshaphat said,“ Let not the king say such things!”

Now therefore, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel.

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

“ Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”?

Then the prophet departed and waited for the king by the road, and disguised himself with a bandage over his eyes.

“ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.“ Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

Suddenly a prophet approached Ahab king of Israel, saying,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into your hand today, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”
