Then Elijah said,“ As surely as the Lord of armies lives, before whom I stand, I will certainly present myself to him today.”

以利亞說：「我指着所事奉永生的萬軍之耶和華起誓，我今日要讓亞哈見到我。」

以利亞曰、我指所事萬有之主耶和華而誓、我今日必入覲乎王。

以利亞曰、我指我所事萬有之永生主而誓、今日必使亞哈得見我、

Elijah said,“ As the Lord Almighty lives, whom I serve, I will surely present myself to Ahab today.”

Elijah said,“ I serve the Lord who rules over all. You can be sure that he lives. And you can be just as sure that I will speak to Ahab today.”

And Elijah said,“ As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to him today.”

But Elijah said,“ I swear by the Lord Almighty, in whose presence I stand, that I will present myself to Ahab this very day.”

Then Elijah said,“ As the LORD of Armies lives, in whose presence I stand, today I will present myself to Ahab.”

Then Elijah said,“ As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely present myself to him today.”

And Elijah said, As Jehovah of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself unto him to- day.

Then Elijah said,“ As the Lord of Hosts lives, before whom I stand, today I will present myself to Ahab.”

And Elijah said,[ As] the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely shew myself unto him to day.

But Elijah said,“ As certainly as the LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL lives( whom I serve), I will make an appearance before him today.”

Elijah said,“ As Yahweh of Armies lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to him today.”

Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall certainly be neither dew nor rain during these years, except by my word.”

As surely as the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom to which my master has not sent word to search for you; and whenever they say,‘ He is not here,’ he makes the kingdom or nation swear that they could not find you.

And be careful not to raise your eyes to heaven and look at the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the heavenly lights, and allow yourself to be drawn away and worship them and serve them, things which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, A people in whose heart is My Law; Do not fear the taunting of people, Nor be terrified of their abuses.For the moth will eat them like a garment; Yes, the moth will eat them like wool. But My righteousness will be forever, And My salvation to all generations.”

The angel answered and said to him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His heavenly armies!Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light!

Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.Lift up your heads, you gates, And lift them up, you ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!Who is this King of glory? The Lord of armies, He is the King of glory. Selah

Joshua the son of Nun, who stands before you, shall himself enter there; encourage him, for he will give it to Israel as an inheritance.

They will spread them out to the sun, the moon, and to all the heavenly lights, which they have loved, which they have served, which they have followed, which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered nor buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.

And so the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their heavenly lights.

Bless the Lord, all you His angels, You who serve Him, doing His will.

Is there any number to His troops? And upon whom does His light not rise?

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army of angels praising God and saying,“ Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.”

For people swear an oath by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath serving as confirmation is an end of every dispute.In the same way God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, confirmed it with an oath,
