Then Elijah said,“ As the LORD of Armies lives, in whose presence I stand, today I will present myself to Ahab.”

以利亚说：“我指着我所服事永活的万军之耶和华起誓，今天我必在亚哈面前出现。”

以利亞說：「我指着所事奉永生的萬軍之耶和華起誓，我今日必使亞哈得見我。」

以利亞說：「我指着所事奉永生的萬軍之耶和華起誓，我今日要讓亞哈見到我。」

以利亞說：「我指着所事奉永生的萬軍之耶和華起誓，我今日要讓亞哈見到我。」

以利亞說：“我指著我所服事永活的萬軍之耶和華起誓，今天我必在亞哈面前出現。”

以利亞說：『我指着永活的萬軍之永恆主我侍立在他面前的來起誓：我今天一定要使亞哈看見我。』

以利亞曰、我指所事萬軍之主、維生之耶和華而誓、今日我必見於彼、

以利亞曰、我指所事萬有之主耶和華而誓、我今日必入覲乎王。

以利亞曰、我指我所事萬有之永生主而誓、今日必使亞哈得見我、

Elijah said,“ As the Lord Almighty lives, whom I serve, I will surely present myself to Ahab today.”

Elijah said,“ I serve the Lord who rules over all. You can be sure that he lives. And you can be just as sure that I will speak to Ahab today.”

And Elijah said,“ As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to him today.”

But Elijah said,“ I swear by the Lord Almighty, in whose presence I stand, that I will present myself to Ahab this very day.”

Then Elijah said,“ As surely as the Lord of armies lives, before whom I stand, I will certainly present myself to him today.”

Then Elijah said,“ As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely present myself to him today.”

And Elijah said, As Jehovah of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself unto him to- day.

Then Elijah said,“ As the Lord of Hosts lives, before whom I stand, today I will present myself to Ahab.”

And Elijah said,[ As] the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely shew myself unto him to day.

But Elijah said,“ As certainly as the LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL lives( whom I serve), I will make an appearance before him today.”

Elijah said,“ As Yahweh of Armies lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to him today.”

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from the Gilead settlers, said to Ahab,“ As the LORD God of Israel lives, in whose presence I stand, there will be no dew or rain during these years except by my command!”

As the LORD your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent someone to search for you. When they said,‘ He is not here,’ he made that kingdom or nation swear they had not found you.

When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the stars in the sky— do not be led astray to bow in worship to them and serve them. The LORD your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my instruction: do not fear disgrace by men, and do not be shattered by their taunts.For moths will devour them like a garment, and worms will eat them like wool. But my righteousness will last forever, and my salvation for all generations.

The angel answered him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and tell you this good news.

Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly armies.Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle.Lift up your heads, you gates! Rise up, ancient doors! Then the King of glory will come in.Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD of Armies, he is the King of glory. Selah

Joshua son of Nun, who attends you, will enter it. Encourage him, for he will enable Israel to inherit it.

They will be exposed to the sun, the moon, and all the stars in the sky, which they have loved, served, followed, consulted, and worshiped. Their bones will not be collected and buried but will become like manure on the soil’s surface.

So the heavens and the earth and everything in them were completed.

Bless the LORD, all his armies, his servants who do his will.

Can his troops be numbered? Does his light not shine on everyone?

And one called to another: Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Armies; his glory fills the whole earth.

Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors!

For people swear by something greater than themselves, and for them a confirming oath ends every dispute.Because God wanted to show his unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, he guaranteed it with an oath,
