“ Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.”

Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them except a widow at Zarephath in Sidon.

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us.

The LORD said to Gideon,“ You have too many troops for me to hand the Midianites over to them, or else Israel might elevate themselves over me and say,‘ I saved myself.’

When Jesus left there, he withdrew to the area of Tyre and Sidon.Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came and kept crying out,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely tormented by a demon.”
