Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Sidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain thee.

“ Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.”

“ Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”

“ Go and live in the village of Zarephath, near the city of Sidon. I have instructed a widow there to feed you.”

Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which[ belongeth] to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

And the captives of this host of the children of Israel, that are among the Canaanites, shall possess even unto Zarephath; and the captives of Jerusalem, that are in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the South.

and unto none of them was Elijah sent, but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;

( as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall thy seed be.And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

And Jehovah said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.

And Jesus went out thence, and withdrew into the parts of Tyre and Sidon.And behold, a Canaanitish woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon.
