He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.

But he answered,“ It is written,‘ Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”

Your proud waves shall be stopped here?’“ Have you commanded the morning in your days, and caused the dawn to know its place,that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and shake the wicked out of it?

“ Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you, and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it pour out its water. You shall bring water to them out of the rock; so you shall give the congregation and their livestock drink.”

Who provides for the raven his prey, when his young ones cry to God, and wander for lack of food?

Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.

Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and served him.

When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? He is over a nation or a man alike,

Though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out there; and though they be hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them.Though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. I will set my eyes on them for evil, and not for good.
