Then she said to Elijah,“ O man of God, what have you done to me? Have you come here to point out my sins and kill my son?”

妇人对以利亚说：“神人哪，我与你何干？你竟到我这里来，使神想念我的罪，以致我的儿子死呢？”

妇人对以利亚说：“神人哪，我跟你有什么关系，你竟到我这里来，使上帝记起我的罪，以致我的儿子死了呢？”

妇人对以利亚说：“神人哪，我跟你有什么关系，你竟到我这里来，使神记起我的罪，以致我的儿子死了呢？”

妇人对以利亚说：“上帝的仆人啊，我跟你有什么关系？你到我这里来是要让上帝想起我的罪，取我儿子的性命吗？”

于是妇人对以利亚说：“神人哪，我跟你有什么关系呢？你竟到我这里来，使耶和华想起我的罪孽，杀死我的儿子。”

婦人對以利亞說：「神人哪，我與你何干？你竟到我這裏來，使神想念我的罪，以致我的兒子死呢？」

婦人對以利亞說：「神人哪，我跟你有甚麼關係，你竟到我這裏來，使上帝記起我的罪，以致我的兒子死了呢？」

婦人對以利亞說：「神人哪，我跟你有甚麼關係，你竟到我這裏來，使神記起我的罪，以致我的兒子死了呢？」

婦人對以利亞說：「上帝的僕人啊，我跟你有什麼關係？你到我這裡來是要讓上帝想起我的罪，取我兒子的性命嗎？」

於是婦人對以利亞說：“神人哪，我跟你有甚麼關係呢？你竟到我這裡來，使耶和華想起我的罪孽，殺死我的兒子。”

婦人對以利亞說：『神人哪，我與你之間有甚麼相干？你竟到我這裏來，重翻起我罪孽的舊案，而使我兒子死啊！』

婦謂以利亞曰、上帝僕歟、我與爾何與、爾來此、使憶我罪、而殺我子耶、

嫠告以利亞曰、上帝之僕、我與爾無與、爾豈來使上帝憶我罪、以殺我子乎。

婦謂以利亞曰、神人歟、我與爾何與、乃爾入我家、使天主憶我罪、以殺我子、

She said to Elijah,“ What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?”

The woman said to Elijah,“ You are a man of God. What do you have against me? Did you come to bring my sin out into the open? Did you come to kill my son?”

And she said to Elijah,“ What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to cause the death of my son!”

She said to Elijah,“ Man of God, what do you have against me? Have you come to call attention to my iniquity so that my son is put to death?”

So she said to Elijah,“ Why is my business any of yours, you man of God? Yet you have come to me to bring my wrongdoing to remembrance, and to put my son to death!”

So she said to Elijah,“ What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to kill my son?”

And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? thou art come unto me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son!

She said to Elijah,“ Man of God, what do we have in common? Have you come to remind me of my guilt and to kill my son?”

And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?

She asked Elijah,“ Why, prophet, have you come to me to confront me with my sin and kill my son?”

She said to Elijah,“ What have I to do with you, you man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to memory, and to kill my son!”

When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said,“ Oh, Lord, please leave me— I’m such a sinful man.”

“ Go away! Why are you interfering with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are— the Holy One of God!”

“ Why are you coming to me?” Elisha asked the king of Israel.“ Go to the pagan prophets of your father and mother!” But King Joram of Israel said,“ No! For it was the Lord who called us three kings here— only to be defeated by the king of Moab!”

“ No!” the king said.“ Who asked your opinion, you sons of Zeruiah! If the Lord has told him to curse me, who are you to stop him?”

“ Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied.“ My time has not yet come.”

A crowd soon gathered around Jesus, and they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons. He was sitting there fully clothed and perfectly sane, and they were all afraid.Then those who had seen what happened told the others about the demon possessed man and the pigs.And the crowd began pleading with Jesus to go away and leave them alone.

With a shriek, he screamed,“ Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In the name of God, I beg you, don’t torture me!”

Tell me, what have I done wrong? Show me my rebellion and my sin.

At the Lord’s command, a man of God from Judah went to Bethel, arriving there just as Jeroboam was approaching the altar to burn incense.

When Herod heard about Jesus, he said,“ John, the man I beheaded, has come back from the dead.”

So Samuel did as the Lord instructed. When he arrived at Bethlehem, the elders of the town came trembling to meet him.“ What’s wrong?” they asked.“ Do you come in peace?”

But King Neco sent messengers to Josiah with this message:“ What do you want with me, king of Judah? I have no quarrel with you today! I am on my way to fight another nation, and God has told me to hurry! Do not interfere with God, who is with me, or he will destroy you.”

“ You write bitter accusations against me and bring up all the sins of my youth.

“ Who asked your opinion, you sons of Zeruiah!” David exclaimed.“ Why have you become my adversary today? This is not a day for execution, for today I am once again the king of Israel!”

The people of Jerusalem will think it is a false omen, because of their treaty with the Babylonians. But the king of Babylon will remind the people of their rebellion. Then he will attack and capture them.“ Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Again and again you remind me of your sin and your guilt. You don’t even try to hide it! In everything you do, your sins are obvious for all to see. So now the time of your punishment has come!

Speaking among themselves, they said,“ Clearly we are being punished because of what we did to Joseph long ago. We saw his anguish when he pleaded for his life, but we wouldn’t listen. That’s why we’re in this trouble.”“ Didn’t I tell you not to sin against the boy?” Reuben asked.“ But you wouldn’t listen. And now we have to answer for his blood!”

But now that their father was dead, Joseph’s brothers became fearful.“ Now Joseph will show his anger and pay us back for all the wrong we did to him,” they said.

to say to you:‘ Please forgive your brothers for the great wrong they did to you— for their sin in treating you so cruelly.’ So we, the servants of the God of your father, beg you to forgive our sin.” When Joseph received the message, he broke down and wept.

“ Oh, sir,” Obadiah protested,“ what harm have I done to you that you are sending me to my death at the hands of Ahab?

As soon as he saw Jesus, he shrieked and fell down in front of him. Then he screamed,“ Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Please, I beg you, don’t torture me!”
