他将近百岁的时候，虽然想到自己的身体如同已死，撒拉的生育已经断绝，他的信心还是不软弱；并且仰望神的应许，总没有因不信，心里起疑惑，反倒因信，心里得坚固，将荣耀归给神，

耶稣说：“妇人，你的信心是大的！照你所要的，给你成全了吧。”从那时候，她女儿就好了。

耶稣叫门徒来，说：“我实在告诉你们，这穷寡妇投入库里的，比众人所投的更多。

亚伯兰就照着耶和华的吩咐去了；罗得也和他同去。亚伯兰出哈兰的时候年七十五岁。

亚伯拉罕因着信，被试验的时候，就把以撒献上；这便是那欢喜领受应许的，将自己独生的儿子献上。
