屬基拉居民之提斯比人以利亞、謂亞哈曰、我事主以色列之天主、我指其永生而誓、今而後數年間、我若不言、不言或作不祈則必無露無雨、

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.”

Elijah was from Tishbe in the land of Gilead. He said to Ahab,“ I serve the Lord. He is the God of Israel. You can be sure that he lives. And you can be just as sure that there won’t be any dew or rain on the whole land. There won’t be any during the next few years. It won’t come until I say so.”

Now Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”

Now Elijah, who was from Tishbe in Gilead, told King Ahab,“ As surely as the Lord, the God of Israel, lives— the God I serve— there will be no dew or rain during the next few years until I give the word!”

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from the Gilead settlers, said to Ahab,“ As the LORD God of Israel lives, in whose presence I stand, there will be no dew or rain during these years except by my command!”

Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall certainly be neither dew nor rain during these years, except by my word.”

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the sojourners of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As Jehovah, the God of Israel, liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from the Gilead settlers, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord God of Israel lives, I stand before Him, and there will be no dew or rain during these years except by my command!”

And Elijah the Tishbite,[ who was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab,[ As] the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As certainly as the LORD God of Israel lives( whom I serve), there will be no dew or rain in the years ahead unless I give the command.”

Elijah the Tishbite, who was one of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As Yahweh, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”

米該雅回答說：「我憑永活的耶和華起誓，耶和華對我說什麼，我就說什麼。」

那時，耶和華把利未支派分別出來，派他們抬祂的約櫃，站立在祂面前事奉祂，奉祂的名祝福，至今未變。

事實上，在以利亞先知的時代，天乾旱無雨達三年半之久，遍地有大饑荒。那時，以色列國有許多寡婦，但以利亞並沒有奉命去幫助她們任何人，只奉命去幫助住在西頓地區撒勒法的一個寡婦。

你們要時刻警醒，常常禱告，使你們能逃過這一切將要發生的災難，並能站在人子面前。」

旱災持續了三年。一天，耶和華吩咐以利亞說：「你去見亞哈。我要降雨在地上。」

上帝並沒有放棄祂預先揀選的子民。你們不知道聖經上有關以利亞先知的記載嗎？他在上帝面前控告以色列人，說：

天使回答說：「我是侍立在上帝面前的加百列，奉命來向你報這喜訊。

以法蓮人說：「你們這些在以法蓮和瑪拿西境內的基列人不過是以法蓮的逃亡者。」於是，耶弗他號召基列人起來迎戰以法蓮人，打敗了他們。

他們問：「那麼，你是誰？是以利亞嗎？」他說：「不是。」他們又問：「你是那位先知嗎？」他說：「也不是。」

其他人卻說：「等一下！我們看看以利亞會不會來救祂。」

耶和華對我說：「如果你回心轉意，我就讓你重新事奉我。如果你說有益的話，不說無益的話，就可以做我的發言人，百姓便會歸向你，但你不可受他們的影響。

我憑你的上帝——永活的耶和華起誓，王派人到各邦各國尋找你，任何邦國若說你不在那裡，王就要他們起誓說真的找不到你。

以利亞說：「我事奉的是永活的萬軍之耶和華，我憑祂起誓，我今天必出現在亞哈面前。」

如果你們願意接受，約翰就是那要來的以利亞。

「你既然不是基督，不是以利亞，也不是那位先知，那你為什麼給人施洗呢？」

因為祂教導他們時像位有權柄的人，不像他們的律法教師。

舉目四下看看吧，你的兒女正聚集到你這裡。我憑我的永恆起誓，你必把他們作為飾物戴在身上，如新娘一樣用他們妝扮自己。這是耶和華說的。

因為昨天晚上，我所歸屬、所事奉的上帝差遣天使站在我身旁，

當摩西和以利亞要離開時，彼得對耶穌說：「老師，我們在這裡真好！讓我們搭三座帳篷，一座給你，一座給摩西，一座給以利亞。」其實彼得並不知道自己在說什麼。

以利沙說：「我憑我事奉的永活上帝起誓，我決不接受。」乃縵再三請求，他仍不肯接受。

祂的門徒雅各和約翰見狀，說：「主啊，你要我們叫天上的火降下來燒死他們嗎？」

忽然，摩西和以利亞二人在跟耶穌交談。

他們擁有權能，在傳道期間可以關閉天空使雨不降在地上，又有權使水變成血，並隨時用各樣的災禍擊打世界。

門徒回答說：「有人說是施洗者約翰，有人說是以利亞，也有人說是耶利米，或其他某位先知。」

有些站在旁邊的人聽見了，就說：「這人在呼叫以利亞呢。」
