“ I lifted you up from the dust and appointed you ruler over my people Israel, but you followed the ways of Jeroboam and caused my people Israel to sin and to arouse my anger by their sins.

“ I lifted you up from the dust. I appointed you king over my people Israel. But you lived the way Jeroboam had lived. You also caused my people Israel to sin. And their sins made me very angry.

“ Since I exalted you out of the dust and made you leader over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have made my people Israel to sin, provoking me to anger with their sins,

“ I lifted you out of the dust to make you ruler of my people Israel, but you have followed the evil example of Jeroboam. You have provoked my anger by causing my people Israel to sin.

“ Because I raised you up from the dust and made you ruler over my people Israel, but you have walked in the ways of Jeroboam and have caused my people Israel to sin, angering me with their sins,

“ Since I exalted you from the dust and made you leader over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have misled My people Israel into sin, provoking Me to anger with their sins,

“ Inasmuch as I lifted you out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made My people Israel sin, to provoke Me to anger with their sins,

Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel, and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

He did what was evil in the Lord’s sight and followed the example of Jeroboam and the sin he had caused Israel to commit.

Go tell Jeroboam,‘ This is what the Lord God of Israel says: I raised you up from among the people, appointed you ruler over My people Israel,

A man of God came to Eli and said to him,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Didn’t I reveal Myself to your ancestral house when it was in Egypt and belonged to Pharaoh’s palace?Out of all the tribes of Israel, I selected your house to be priests, to offer sacrifices on My altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in My presence. I also gave your house all the Israelite fire offerings.

No, my sons, the report I hear from the Lord’s people is not good.

Nathan replied to David,“ You are the man! Samuel continued,“ Although you once considered yourself unimportant, have you not become the leader of the tribes of Israel? The Lord anointed you king over Israeland then sent you on a mission and said:‘ Go and completely destroy the sinful Amalekites. Fight against them until you have annihilated them.’So why didn’t you obey the Lord? Why did you rush on the plunder and do what was evil in the Lord’s sight?”

Then Moses asked Aaron,“ What did these people do to you that you have led them into such a grave sin?”

Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches people to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

He will give up Israel because of Jeroboam’s sins that he committed and caused Israel to commit.”

Nadab did what was evil in the Lord’s sight and followed the example of his father and the sin he had caused Israel to commit.
