『我既從塵土中舉起了你，立你做人君來管理我人民以色列，你竟走耶羅波安所走的路，使我人民以色列犯了罪，用他們的罪來惹我發怒，

昔我舉爾於塵埃、立為我民以色列之君、而爾行耶羅波安之道、使我民以色列陷罪、激我之怒、

昔爾辱在泥塗、我舉爾為王、治我以色列族之民、爾從耶羅破暗所為、使以色列族犯罪、干我震怒、

我自塵埃中舉爾、立爾為我民以色列之君、乃爾從耶羅波安所為、使我民以色列人陷於罪、作惡干犯我怒、

“ I lifted you up from the dust and appointed you ruler over my people Israel, but you followed the ways of Jeroboam and caused my people Israel to sin and to arouse my anger by their sins.

“ I lifted you up from the dust. I appointed you king over my people Israel. But you lived the way Jeroboam had lived. You also caused my people Israel to sin. And their sins made me very angry.

“ Since I exalted you out of the dust and made you leader over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have made my people Israel to sin, provoking me to anger with their sins,

“ I lifted you out of the dust to make you ruler of my people Israel, but you have followed the evil example of Jeroboam. You have provoked my anger by causing my people Israel to sin.

“ Because I raised you up from the dust and made you ruler over my people Israel, but you have walked in the ways of Jeroboam and have caused my people Israel to sin, angering me with their sins,

“ Since I exalted you from the dust and made you leader over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have misled My people Israel into sin, provoking Me to anger with their sins,

“ Inasmuch as I lifted you out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made My people Israel sin, to provoke Me to anger with their sins,

Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel, and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

“ Because I raised you up from the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, but you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have caused My people Israel to sin, provoking Me with their sins,

Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

“ I raised you up from the dust and made you ruler over my people Israel. Yet you followed in Jeroboam’s footsteps and encouraged my people Israel to sin; their sins have made me angry.

“ Because I exalted you out of the dust, and made you prince over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

他行耶和华看为恶的事，行耶罗波安的路，犯了耶罗波安使以色列人陷在罪中的那罪。

你去告诉耶罗波安：‘耶和华以色列的神这样说：我从人民中提拔了你，又立了你作治理我的子民以色列的领袖。

他从灰尘中抬举贫寒的人，从粪堆中提拔穷乏的人，使他们与显贵同坐，承受尊贵的座位。大地的柱子属于耶和华，他把全地安放在柱子上面。

他从灰尘中抬举贫寒人，从粪堆中提拔穷乏人，使他们和权贵同坐，就是和他子民中的权贵同坐，

这事以后，耶罗波安还不从他的恶道转回，竟然把平民立为邱坛的祭司；愿意的，他都把他们分别为圣，立他们为邱坛的祭司。这事成为耶罗波安的家的罪，以致他的家从地上被涂抹与除灭。

有一位神人来见以利，对他说：“耶和华这样说：‘你父家在埃及法老家为奴的时候，我不是向他们显现吗？我不是从以色列众支派中，选出他们作我的祭司，上我的坛烧香，在我面前穿以弗得吗？我不是把以色列人所献的火祭，都赐给了你的父家吗？

我儿啊，不要这样，因为我听见的消息很不好，你们使耶和华的子民违背律法。

拿单对大卫说：“你就是那人！耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘我膏立了你作以色列的王，把你从扫罗的手里救了出来，把你主人的家赐给你，把你主人的妻妾交在你怀里，又把以色列和犹大家赐给你。如果太少了，我还可以多多加给你。你为什么藐视耶和华的话，行他看为恶的事呢？你用刀击杀了赫人乌利亚，娶了他的妻子作你的妻子，你藉着亚扪人的刀杀了乌利亚。所以，从今以后，刀剑必不离开你的家，因为你藐视了我，娶了赫人乌利亚的妻子作你的妻子。’耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我必从你家中兴起祸患攻击你；我要在你的眼前把你的妃嫔拿去赐给你的同伴。他要在光天化日之下与她们同床。

他使有权能的失位，叫卑微的升高，

现在求我主我王听你仆人的话。如果是耶和华激动你攻击我，愿耶和华收纳祭物；如果是人激动你，愿他们在耶和华面前受咒诅，因为他们今天把我赶出来，不容我在耶和华的产业上有分，说：‘你去服事别的神吧！’

撒母耳说：“从前你虽然自以为微小，不是作了以色列众支派的首领吗？耶和华膏立了你作以色列的王，差遣你去，说：‘你去彻底毁灭那些犯罪的亚玛力人，攻打他们，直到把他们全部毁灭。’你为什么没有听从耶和华的话，急于夺取战利品，作了耶和华看为恶的事呢？”

摩西对亚伦说：“这人民向你作了什么，你竟使他们陷在大罪里呢？”

因此，无论谁废除诫命中最小的一条，又这样教导人，他在天国中必称为最小的；但若有人遵行这些诫命，并且教导人遵行，他在天国中必称为大。

为了耶罗波安所犯的罪，又为了他使以色列人所犯的罪，耶和华必丢弃以色列人。”

拿答行耶和华看为恶的事，跟随他父亲的路，犯他父亲使以色列人陷在罪中的那罪。
