然以大衛之故、其上帝耶和華賜以燈光、在於耶路撒冷、俾其子嗣位、鞏固耶路撒冷、

緣大闢之故、上帝耶和華、使彼在耶路撒冷歷世有光、立其子繼國位、則耶路撒冷之邑、歷久不廢。

雖然、緣大衛之故、主其天主賜之以光以光或作明燈在耶路撒冷、或作緣大衛之故主其天主使彼在耶路撒冷歷世有光立其子繼之登位、使耶路撒冷存留不廢、

Nevertheless, for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem by raising up a son to succeed him and by making Jerusalem strong.

But the Lord still kept the lamp of Abijah’s kingdom burning brightly in Jerusalem. He did it by giving him a son to be the next king after him. He also did it by making Jerusalem strong. The Lord did those things because of David.

Nevertheless, for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, setting up his son after him, and establishing Jerusalem,

But for David’s sake, the Lord his God allowed his descendants to continue ruling, shining like a lamp, and he gave Abijam a son to rule after him in Jerusalem.

But for the sake of David, the LORD his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem by raising up his son after him and by preserving Jerusalem.

But for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, to raise up his son after him and to establish Jerusalem,

Nevertheless for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, by setting up his son after him and by establishing Jerusalem;

Nevertheless for David’s sake did Jehovah his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem;

But because of David, the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem to raise up his son after him and to establish Jerusalem.

Nevertheless for David’s sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:

Nevertheless for David’s sake the LORD his God maintained his dynasty in Jerusalem by giving him a son to succeed him and by protecting Jerusalem.

Nevertheless for David’s sake, Yahweh his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem;

I will give one tribe to his son so that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city where I chose to put my Name. (niv)

Nevertheless, because of the covenant the Lord had made with David, the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David. He had promised to maintain a lamp for him and his descendants forever. (niv)

So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived. (niv)

and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. (niv)

“ I will defend this city and save it, for my sake and for the sake of David my servant!” (niv)

But for the sake of my servant David and the city of Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, he will have one tribe. (niv)

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. (niv)

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. (niv)

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (niv)

What answer shall be given to the envoys of that nation?“ The Lord has established Zion, and in her his afflicted people will find refuge.” (niv)

Because he loved your ancestors and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength, (niv)

He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David( as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us—to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant,the oath he swore to our father Abraham:to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fearin holiness and righteousness before him all our days.And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him,to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins,because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heavento shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” (niv)

Indeed, of Zion it will be said,“ This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.” (niv)

As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, (niv)

But Abishai son of Zeruiah came to David’s rescue; he struck the Philistine down and killed him. Then David’s men swore to him, saying,“ Never again will you go out with us to battle, so that the lamp of Israel will not be extinguished.” (niv)

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. (niv)

When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom.He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands.But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.’” (niv)

In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.Many nations will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (niv)

“ I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (niv)

Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son. (niv)

because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.” (niv)

“ Here I will make a horn grow for David and set up a lamp for my anointed one. (niv)

“ This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it— the Lord is his name: (niv)
