耶羅破暗怙惡不悛、仍以凡民為崇邱祭司、不論何人、欲為之者、使任其職。是事陷耶羅破暗家於罪戾、故上帝滅之於天下。

在便欣嫩谷、築巴力崇邱、焚子女於火、以奉魔洛、此我所嚴禁、所痛疾、彼所作不端、使猶大人陷於罪戾。

昔尼八子耶羅破暗、陷以色列族於罪戾、在伯特利立崇坵、築祭壇、約西亞毀其祭壇、廢其崇坵、焚其偶像、擣之成粉。

彼知未至、見爾有知、席坐偶像之廟、不亦敢食祭偶像之物乎、如是、則知未至之兄弟、縱有基督代死、將以爾之知沉淪矣、然爾得罪兄弟、傷其知未至之心、亦得罪基督、獨何歟、蓋食物陷兄弟於罪、吾永不食肉以陷之矣、

我所風聞非善、爾使耶和華之民犯罪。

哈拿尼子耶戶、先知也。奉耶和華命、切責巴沙、爰及全家、因其行惡於耶和華前、干厥震怒、效尤耶羅破暗、又行篡弒。○

若爾以所食、使兄弟憂、則所為不仁、基督且為之死、爾勿以所食敗之、

暗利行惡於耶和華前、較前王尤甚、從尼八子耶羅破暗所為、使以色列族陷罪、以其妄行干以色列族之上帝耶和華震怒。

必使爾家如尼八子耶羅破暗之家、亦如亞希雅子巴沙之家、因爾干其震怒、使以色列族陷罪。

行惡於耶和華前、父母有惡、尤而效之、尼八子耶羅破暗使以色列族陷罪、彼亦效其所為、

亞庇米力呼亞伯拉罕曰、爾果何為、我曷嘗獲罪爾、爾乃陷我於重罪、爰及人民、爾之相待、甚非所宜。

然亦恆從尼八子耶羅破暗之惡、使以色列族陷罪。

謂亞倫曰、斯民何負於爾、使陷重罪。
