Asa then took all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and of his own palace. He entrusted it to his officials and sent them to Ben-Hadad son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, the king of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus.

Asa took all the silver and gold left among the treasures of the Lord’ s temple and his own palace. He put his officials in charge of it. He sent the officials to Ben- Hadad. Ben- Hadad was king of Aram. He was ruling in Damascus. He was the son of Tabrimmon and the grandson of Hezion.

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house and gave them into the hands of his servants. And King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who lived in Damascus, saying,

Asa responded by removing all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the Temple of the Lord and the royal palace. He sent it with some of his officials to Ben hadad son of Tabrimmon, son of Hezion, the king of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus, along with this message:

So Asa withdrew all the silver and gold that remained in the treasuries of the LORD’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace and gave it to his servants. Then King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad son of Tabrimmon son of Hezion king of Aram who lived in Damascus, saying,

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that was left in the treasuries of the house of the Lord and the treasuries of the king’s house, and handed it over to his servants. And King Asa sent them to Ben hadad the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Aram, who lived in Damascus, saying,

So Asa withdrew all the silver and gold that remained in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace and put it into the hands of his servants. Then King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad son of Tabrimmon son of Hezion king of Aram who lived in Damascus, saying,

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold[ that were] left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

Asa took all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the LORD’s temple and of the royal palace and handed it to his servants. He then told them to deliver it to Ben Hadad son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, ruler in Damascus, along with this message:

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that was left in the treasures of Yahweh’s house, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered it into the hand of his servants. Then King Asa sent them to Ben Hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who lived at Damascus, saying,

耶和華殿及王宮之寶、盡刧以去、又刧所羅門所作之金干。

猶大王約轄、以列祖約沙法、約蘭、亞哈謝、俱為猶大王、所獻之物、與己所獻之物、及耶和華殿府庫、爰及王宮諸金、悉饋亞蘭王哈泄、故哈泄不侵耶路撒冷。

上帝使以利亞大子哩遜為所羅門之敵、彼自鎖巴王哈大底泄所、遁逃於外。大闢殺鎖巴人、其時哩遜集人成群、而為其長、往大馬色、據其國而治理。

以父所獻、及己所獻之金銀器皿、進於耶和華殿。

分其隊伍、乘夜攻擊、又追至大馬色北之何巴。

亞蘭王便哈達、集其軍旅、備其車馬、同盟者三十二王、遂往環攻撒馬利亞、遣使入城、見以色列王亞哈、曰、便哈達云、爾之金銀屬我、爾之妻孥其佳者屬我。以色列王曰、我主歟、我王歟、我與凡所有咸屬於爾、如爾所言。使者復至、曰、便哈達云、昔我遣人、使爾以金銀妻孥悉付於我、

其人細聆其言、隨機應曰、爾兄弟便哈達尚在。王命之至。便哈達遂出、王令同車。便哈達曰、昔我先人所奪爾父之邑、我必反爾、我先人在撒馬利亞作衢、今爾在大馬色亦可作衢、亞哈曰、既結此約、可令爾歸。於是結約、而使之去。○

火焚哈泄家、燬便哈達之宮殿。

亞撒以耶和華殿中府庫、及王宮室、所藏金銀、遣使至大馬色、饋亞蘭王便哈達曰、爾我之父有約、爾我間亦當有約、我饋爾金銀、請爾渝以色列王巴沙之盟、俾勿攻我。便哈達從其言、使武士長攻以色列族邑、擊以雲、但、亞伯馬音、納大利諸府庫。巴沙方建拉馬、聞其謀乃止。亞撒王召猶大族眾、使取巴沙建拉馬之木石、以建基巴、密士巴。○

必火大馬色城垣、毀便哈達宮殿。

以利沙至大馬色。亞蘭王便哈達遘疾。或告王曰、上帝之僕至此。王諭哈泄曰、爾攜禮物、往見上帝之僕、請彼問耶和華我疾得愈否。哈泄攜大馬色所產之嘉品、載於四十駝、以為禮物、就見上帝之僕、立於其前、曰、爾弟子亞蘭王、便哈達、遣我見爾、問此疾可愈否。以利沙曰、爾往告於王、此疾不致殞命。雖然、耶和華曾示我、王必薨。上帝之僕注目視哈泄良久、旋即哭泣。哈泄曰、我主何為哭泣。對曰、我知爾將惡待以色列族、燬其城垣戮其丁男、捽死嬰孩、刳剔孕婦。哈泄曰、我甚微藐、無異於犬、焉能作此大事乎。以利沙曰、耶和華示我爾必為亞蘭王。哈泄離以利沙覲王。王曰、以利沙何言。對曰、言王疾不至殞命。詰朝、哈泄以厚布濡水、掩王面而斃之、遂篡其位。○

亞伯蘭曰、吾主耶和華將何以賜我、蓋我無子、惟大馬色人以利亞薩為我家宰。

希西家以耶和華殿、與王宮府庫、所有之銀、悉以為饋、剝耶和華殿門之金、及自飾於殿柱者、俱饋亞述王。

以父所獻、及己所獻之金銀器皿、進上帝殿、自是干戈克靖、
