我把国从大卫家夺走赐给你，你却没有像我仆人大卫那样遵守我的诫命，全心听从我，做我视为正的事，

我把国从大卫家夺过来，赏赐给你；你却不像我仆人大卫那样谨守我的诫命，一心跟从我，行我看为正的事。

將國從大衛家奪回賜給你；你卻不效法我僕人大衛，遵守我的誡命，一心順從我，行我眼中看為正的事。

我把國從大衛家奪走賜給你，你卻沒有像我僕人大衛那樣遵守我的誡命，全心聽從我，做我視為正的事，

瓜分大闢之國、以賜於爾、我僕大闢守我誡命、誠心從我、行善於我前、爾不則效、

I tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you, but you have not been like my servant David, who kept my commands and followed me with all his heart, doing only what was right in my eyes.

I tore the kingdom away from the royal house of David. I gave it to you. But you have not been like my servant David. He obeyed my commands. He followed me with all his heart. He did only what was right in my eyes.

耶和華與約沙法同在，因為他行他祖先大衛從前所行的道，不去尋求諸巴力，

你若遵行我的道，謹守我的律例、誡命，正如你父親大衛所行的，我必使你長壽。」

亞哈斯登基的時候年二十歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。他不像他祖先大衛行耶和華眼中看為正的事，

他廢了掃羅之後，就興起大衛作他們的王，又為他作見證說：『我尋得耶西的兒子大衛，他是合我心意的人，他要遵行我一切的旨意。』

大衛在世的時候，遵行了上帝的旨意就長眠了，歸到他祖宗那裏，已見朽壞；

因為他們離棄我，敬拜西頓人的女神亞斯她錄、摩押的神明基抹和亞捫人的神明米勒公，沒有像他父親大衛一樣遵從我的道，行我眼中看為正的事，守我的律例典章。但我不從他手裏奪走整個國家，卻使他在活着的日子作君王，是因我所揀選的僕人大衛遵守我的誡命律例。我必從他兒子手裏將王國奪走，賜給你十個支派，只留一個支派給他的兒子，使我僕人大衛在我所選擇立我名的耶路撒冷城那裏，在我面前常有燈光。我選你，使你照你心裏一切所願的作王，成為以色列的王。你若聽從我一切所吩咐你的，遵行我的道，行我眼中看為正的事，謹守我的律例誡命，像我僕人大衛所行的，我就與你同在，為你立堅固的家，像我為大衛所立的一樣，將以色列賜給你。

亞希雅拿起穿在自己身上的新衣，把它撕成十二片，對耶羅波安說：「你可以拿十片。耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：『看哪，我必從所羅門手裏撕裂這國，把十個支派賜給你。
