Go, tell Jeroboam that this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:‘ I raised you up from among the people and appointed you ruler over my people Israel.

Go. Tell Jeroboam that the Lord has a message for him. The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,‘ I chose you from among the people. I appointed you king over my people Israel.

Give your husband, Jeroboam, this message from the Lord, the God of Israel:‘ I promoted you from the ranks of the common people and made you ruler over my people Israel.

Go tell Jeroboam,‘ This is what the LORD God of Israel says: I raised you up from among the people, appointed you ruler over my people Israel,

拿单对大卫说：“你就是那人！耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘我膏立了你作以色列的王，把你从扫罗的手里救了出来，把你主人的家赐给你，把你主人的妻妾交在你怀里，又把以色列和犹大家赐给你。如果太少了，我还可以多多加给你。

‘耶和华这样说：你们不可上去，不可与你们的兄弟以色列人争战。你们各自回家去吧！因为这事是出于我。’”众人就听从了耶和华的话，照着耶和华的话回家去了。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“住口吧！让我把耶和华昨天晚上对我所说的话告诉你。”扫罗对他说：“请说。”

有一位神人来见以利，对他说：“耶和华这样说：‘你父家在埃及法老家为奴的时候，我不是向他们显现吗？我不是从以色列众支派中，选出他们作我的祭司，上我的坛烧香，在我面前穿以弗得吗？我不是把以色列人所献的火祭，都赐给了你的父家吗？你们为什么轻视（“轻视”直译是“踢”）我所吩咐要为我居所献上的祭牲和礼物呢？（《马索拉文本》本句意思不明确）你为什么尊重你的儿子过于尊重我，用我子民以色列所献一切最好的礼物自肥呢？’因此，耶和华以色列的神说：‘我曾说：你的家和你的父家，必永远行在我面前。’现在耶和华却说：‘我决不容你们这样行了，因为尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐视我的，必受到轻视。
