But the Lord had told Ahijah,“ Jeroboam’s wife is coming to ask you about her son, for he is ill, and you are to give her such and such an answer. When she arrives, she will pretend to be someone else.”

But the Lord had told Ahijah,“ Jeroboam’s wife is coming. Her son is sick. She’ll ask you about him. Give her the answer I give you. When she arrives, she’ll pretend to be someone else.”

And the Lord said to Ahijah,“ Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Thus and thus shall you say to her.” When she came, she pretended to be another woman.

But the LORD had said to Ahijah,“ Jeroboam’s wife is coming soon to ask you about her son, for he is sick. You are to say such and such to her. When she arrives, she will be disguised.”

Now the Lord had said to Ahijah,“ Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to inquire of you about her son, because he is sick. You shall say such and such to her, for it will be when she arrives, that she is going to make herself unrecognizable.”

Now the Lord had said to Ahijah,“ Here is the wife of Jeroboam, coming to ask you something about her son, for he is sick. Thus and thus you shall say to her; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.”

And Jehovah said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to inquire of thee concerning her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her; for it will be, when she cometh in, that she will feign herself to be another woman.

But the Lord had said to Ahijah,“ Jeroboam’s wife is coming soon to ask you about her son, for he is sick. You are to say such and such to her. When she arrives, she will be disguised.”

And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he[ is] sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself[ to be] another[ woman].

But the LORD had told Ahijah,“ Look, Jeroboam’s wife is coming to find out from you what will happen to her son, for he is sick. Tell her so-and-so. When she comes, she will be in a disguise.”

Yahweh said to Ahijah,“ Behold, Jeroboam’s wife is coming to inquire of you concerning her son; for he is sick. Tell her such and such; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.”

Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.

When the king of Aram was at war with Israel, he would confer with his officers and say,“ We will mobilize our forces at such and such a place.”But immediately Elisha, the man of God, would warn the king of Israel,“ Do not go near that place, for the Arameans are planning to mobilize their troops there.”So the king of Israel would send word to the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he would be on the alert there.The king of Aram became very upset over this. He called his officers together and demanded,“ Which of you is the traitor? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans?”“ It’s not us, my lord the king,” one of the officers replied.“ Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom!”

O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.

No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord.

Meanwhile, as Peter was puzzling over the vision, the Holy Spirit said to him,“ Three men have come looking for you.Get up, go downstairs, and go with them without hesitation. Don’t worry, for I have sent them.”

But when she came to the man of God at the mountain, she fell to the ground before him and caught hold of his feet. Gehazi began to push her away, but the man of God said,“ Leave her alone. She is deeply troubled, but the Lord has not told me what it is.”
