王对神人说：“请与我一起回王宫去，吃点东西，加添心力，我还要赐给你一份礼物。”

以利沙来到大马士革。亚兰王便．哈达患了病。有人告诉他说：“神人来到这里了。”王对哈薛说：“你带着礼物，去见神人，托他求问耶和华说：‘我这病能痊愈吗？’”于是哈薛去见以利沙。他带着礼物，就是大马士革各样的美物，由四十匹骆驼驮着，去站在他的面前，说：“你的儿子亚兰王便．哈达派我到你这里来，问你说：‘我这病能痊愈吗？’”

乃缦和他的随员又回到神人那里，他进去，站在他面前，说：“看哪！现在我知道除了在以色列以外，全地都没有神。现在，请你收下你仆人一点礼物吧。”

他听见耶稣从犹太到了加利利，就来见他，求他下去医治他的儿子，因为他的儿子快要死了。耶稣对他说：“你们若看不见神迹奇事，总是不肯信。”

有一天，亚哈谢在撒玛利亚，从楼上的窗户掉下来，他就病了；于是他差派使者，对他们说：“你们去求问以革伦的神巴力．西卜，我这个病到底能否复原？”

亚兰王说：“你去吧！我会送一封书信给以色列王的。”于是乃缦去了，手里带着三百公斤银子，约七十公斤金子和十套衣裳。

有百夫长所重用的一个奴仆，病得快要死了。百夫长听见耶稣的事，就打发犹太人中几个长老到他那里，求他去医治他的奴仆。

姊妹二人派人到耶稣那里去，说：“主啊，你所爱的人病了。”
