All Israel will mourn for him and bury him. He is the only one belonging to Jeroboam who will be buried, because he is the only one in the house of Jeroboam in whom the Lord, the God of Israel, has found anything good.

All the Israelites will mourn for him. Then he will be buried. He is the only one who belongs to Jeroboam who will be buried. That is because he is the only one in Jeroboam’s royal house in whom I have found anything good. I am the Lord, the God of Israel.

And all Israel shall mourn for him and bury him, for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found something pleasing to the Lord, the God of Israel, in the house of Jeroboam.

然爾於斯土毀偶像、誠心崇上帝、猶可為善。○

王痛自怨艾耶和華息怒、不盡滅之、猶大族中、事亦亨通。

勿為死者哀哭、當為擄者號泣、蓋彼不返國、不復見故土。

以色列會眾見亞倫死、則為之守喪三旬。

耶和華曰、猶大王、約西亞次子約雅金、既死之時、民不舉哀哭泣、曰、哀哉兄弟姊妹乎、惜哉我主、顯榮安在乎。

如此惡人有子、見父作惡、思改其行、不食岡巒之祭品、不敬以色列族所崇偶像、不淫人妻、不虐遇人、不攘奪人、受人質、即反之、使饑者得飽、裸者不寒、不挾制貧乏、不取利、不迫索、遵我禮儀、守我法度、若此者、不可因父之罪並加誅殛、必全其生命。然其父殘暴、強據同儕、作惡於民間、則必蹈罪而亡。爾曹曰、子負父罪曷故、如人子為義、守我法度則可保生、犯者必死、子不負父罪、父不負子罪、善者必獲善報、惡者必獲惡報。如惡人悛改素行、守我禮儀、孳孳為義、則可保生、不就死地、其所作之惡、不復追憶、乃因其善、必保其生、主耶和華曰、維彼惡人、自取死亡、豈我所悅、我豈不以悛改得生為悅乎。如善人去善就惡、行諸不義、我所痛疾者、豈得保生乎、其所行之善、不復追憶、既犯罪作惡、必使之亡。爾言我耶和華所行、不尚正直、以色列族宜聽我言、我所行者、惟秉大公、爾所為者、尚存偏頗。善人去善作惡、則必因其所為、置諸死地。如惡人悛改素行、孳孳為義、則可得生、因其思慮、悛改厥惡、則保其生、不就死地。以色列族常言、我耶和華所為、不尚正直、爾以色列族乎、我所行者、惟秉至公、爾所為者、不能無私。我耶和華必鞫以色列族、視人所為、降以刑罰、故當悛改、免陷於罪、以致滅亡。以色列族乎、當革爾惡行、新爾心神、奚為自取其死。人死於罪、我所不悅、故當悛改、保爾生命、我耶和華已言之矣。

然爾曰、我儕將何以得其致罪之由、而加詰責。

望爾與眾、共信主而務力行、使人知爾所為百善、歸榮於基督耶穌、

蓋義者與彼同處、見其敗亂矩矱、無日不憂、惟主救敬虔之人、免於患難、而留不義者、待鞫日受刑、
