“ As for you, go back home. When you set foot in your city, the boy will die.

“ Now go back home. When you enter your city, your son will die.

Then Ahijah said to Jeroboam’s wife,“ Go on home, and when you enter the city, the child will die.

He said to him,“ Yahweh says,‘ Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”

They said to him,“ A man came up to meet us, and said to us,‘ Go, return to the king who sent you, and tell him,“ Yahweh says,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel, that you send to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”’”

He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he has sinned, and with which he has made Israel to sin.”Jeroboam’s wife arose and departed, and came to Tirzah. As she came to the threshold of the house, the child died.

Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”

Jesus said to him,“ Go your way. Your son lives.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.As he was now going down, his servants met him and reported, saying“ Your child lives!”So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him,“ Yesterday at the seventh hour, the fever left him.”
