爾當旋歸、足履城時、爾子必死。

爾起、歸爾之家、爾足適入邑、爾子即死、

“ Now go back home. When you enter your city, your son will die.

Arise therefore, go to your house. When your feet enter the city, the child shall die.

Then Ahijah said to Jeroboam’s wife,“ Go on home, and when you enter the city, the child will die.

“ As for you, get up and go to your house. When your feet enter the city, the boy will die.

He told the king,“ This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”

“ A man came to meet us,” they replied.“ And he said to us,‘ Go back to the king who sent you and tell him,“ This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”’”

And he will give Israel up because of the sins Jeroboam has committed and has caused Israel to commit.”Then Jeroboam’s wife got up and left and went to Tirzah. As soon as she stepped over the threshold of the house, the boy died.

Take ten loaves of bread with you, some cakes and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will happen to the boy.”

“ Go,” Jesus replied,“ your son will live.” The man took Jesus at his word and departed.While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living.When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him,“ Yesterday, at one in the afternoon, the fever left him.”
