“ As for you, go back home. When you set foot in your city, the boy will die.

“ Now go back home. When you enter your city, your son will die.

Arise therefore, go to your house. When your feet enter the city, the child shall die.

Then Ahijah said to Jeroboam’s wife,“ Go on home, and when you enter the city, the child will die.

And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron,[ is it] not because[ there is] no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD,[ Is it] not because[ there is] not a God in Israel,[ that] thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.And Jeroboam’s wife arose, and departed, and came to Tirzah:[ and] when she came to the threshold of the door, the child died;

And take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.

Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told[ him], saying, Thy son liveth.Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
