When King Jeroboam heard what the man of God cried out against the altar at Bethel, he stretched out his hand from the altar and said,“ Seize him!” But the hand he stretched out toward the man shriveled up, so that he could not pull it back.

The man of God announced that message against the altar at Bethel. When King Jeroboam heard it, he reached out his hand from the altar. He said,“ Grab him!” But as he reached out his hand toward the man, it dried up. He couldn’t even pull it back.

And when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar at Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Seize him.” And his hand, which he stretched out against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back to himself.

When King Jeroboam heard the man of God speaking against the altar at Bethel, he pointed at him and shouted,“ Seize that man!” But instantly the king’s hand became paralyzed in that position, and he couldn’t pull it back.

When the king heard the message that the man of God had cried out against the altar at Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar and said,“ Arrest him!” But the hand he stretched out against him withered, and he could not pull it back to himself.

Now when the king heard the statement of the man of God which he cried out against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Seize him!” But his hand which he had stretched out toward him dried up, and he could not draw it back to himself.

So it came to pass when King Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, who cried out against the altar in Bethel, that he stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Arrest him!” Then his hand, which he stretched out toward him, withered, so that he could not pull it back to himself.

And it came to pass, when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Beth- el, that Jeroboam put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back again to him.

When the king heard what the prophet cried out against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam, standing at the altar, extended his hand and ordered,“ Seize him!” The hand he had extended shriveled up and he could not pull it back.

耶利米传达完耶和华的话之后，祭司、先知和民众就抓住他，说：“你真该死！你为什么奉耶和华的名预言这殿必像示罗一样被毁，这城必要荒无人烟呢？”于是，他们在耶和华的殿里把耶利米围了起来。犹大的首领得知后，就离开王宫，上到耶和华的殿，坐在耶和华殿新门的入口。祭司和先知对官员和民众说：“这人该被处死！因为他预言这城要被毁，这是你们亲耳听到的。”

亚撒听了就对先见发怒，把他囚禁在监狱里，同时又压迫一些民众。

他们听到耶稣说“我就是”，便后退跌倒在地上。

出卖耶稣的犹大预先和他们定了暗号，说：“我亲吻谁，谁就是耶稣，你们把祂抓起来，小心押走。”犹大随即走到耶稣跟前说：“老师。”然后就亲吻耶稣。其他人就下手捉拿耶稣。

便下令殴打耶利米先知，把他囚禁在耶和华殿的便雅悯上门处。第二天，他释放了耶利米，耶利米对他说：“耶和华不再叫你巴施户珥，要叫你玛歌珥·米撒毕。因为耶和华说，‘我要使你和你的朋友都惊慌失措，让你亲眼看见你的朋友死在敌人刀下；我要把犹大人都交在巴比伦王手中，使他们或被杀或被掳到巴比伦；我要把这城里所有的财富、出产、珍宝，甚至犹大列王的宝物都交给敌人，带到巴比伦作战利品。你巴施户珥、你所有的家人以及听你说假预言的朋友都要被掳到巴比伦，死在那里，葬在那里。’”

若有人要伤害他们，他们便从口中喷出火焰，烧灭敌人；若有人企图加害他们，必定会这样被杀。

说：“不可难为我膏立的人，也不可伤害我的先知。”

但希腊名字叫以吕马的那个术士反对使徒，试图拦阻总督信主。又名扫罗的保罗被圣灵充满，盯着他说：“你这魔鬼的儿子，充满了诡诈和邪恶，是一切正义之敌，到现在还想歪曲主的正道吗？现在主要亲手惩罚你，使你瞎眼，暂时不见天日！”他顿觉眼前一片漆黑，只好四处摸索，求人领他走路。

以色列王下令说：“把米该雅交给亚们总督和约阿施王子，告诉他们，‘王说，要把这人关进监牢，只给他一些饼和水，直到我平安地回来。’”米该雅说：“你若能够平安回来，耶和华就没有借着我说话。”他又说：“众民啊，你们都要记住我的话。”

他倒在地上，听见有声音对他说：“扫罗！扫罗！你为什么迫害我？”他说：“主啊，你是谁？”那声音说：“我就是你所迫害的耶稣。

捉拿耶稣的人把祂押到大祭司该亚法那里。律法教师和长老已聚集在那里。

我实实在在地告诉你们，人若接待我所差遣的，就是接待我；接待我，就是接待差我来的那位。”

分封王希律娶了自己弟弟的妻子希罗底，又做了许多恶事，因而受到约翰的指责，可是他却恶上加恶，将约翰关进监牢里。

“王会回答说，‘我实在告诉你们，你们帮助我最卑微的一个弟兄，就是帮助我了。’

又煽动百姓、长老和律法教师抓住司提凡，把他押到公会。他们还派人作伪证说：“司提凡常常讲侮辱圣地和律法的话。我们听见他说那个拿撒勒人耶稣要毁坏圣殿，还要摒弃摩西传给我们的规矩。”

当时，基列·耶琳人示玛雅的儿子乌利亚也奉耶和华的名预言这城和这地方将被毁，内容与耶利米说的一样。约雅敬王和他的王公大臣听见乌利亚的话，就想处死他。乌利亚得知后，吓得逃到埃及去了。约雅敬王便派亚革波的儿子以利拿单率随从去埃及捉拿他。他们把乌利亚从埃及押到约雅敬王面前，王用刀杀了他，把尸首抛在平民的坟地中。

这几位官长就对西底迦王说：“求你处死这人！因为他的话令这城的军民士气低落。这人不为人民着想，反要害他们。”西底迦王说：“你们可以随意处置他，我不会阻止你们。”于是，他们拿住耶利米，用绳子把他缒到王子玛基雅的蓄水池里。那池子在护卫兵的院子里，池中没有水，只有淤泥。耶利米就陷在淤泥中。

伯特利的祭司亚玛谢派人告诉以色列王耶罗波安：“阿摩司在以色列家图谋背叛你，我们国家无法容忍他的言论。因为阿摩司这样说，‘耶罗波安将丧身刀下，以色列人必被掳去，远离家乡。’”亚玛谢对我说：“先见啊，走吧！逃回犹大去吧！你要在那里挣吃的，在那里说预言。不可再在伯特利说预言，这里是王的圣所，是国庙。”我答道：“我本不是先知，也不是先知的门徒。我只是一个牧人，也替人看护桑树。但耶和华不再让我看守羊群，祂对我说，‘去！向我的以色列子民说预言。’亚玛谢啊，你说，‘不要说攻击以色列的预言，不要传讲攻击以撒子孙的信息。’现在你要听耶和华对你说的话。耶和华说，‘你的妻子必在这城里沦为妓女，你的儿女必丧身刀下，你的田地必被人丈量、瓜分，你自己必死在异乡。以色列人必被掳去，远离家乡。’”

祂环视众人，然后对那人说：“把手伸出来！”那人的手一伸就复原了。

并让门外的人，不论老少都眼目昏花，摸来摸去也找不着罗得家的门。

亚兰人向以利沙冲来，以利沙祈求耶和华说：“求你使他们瞎眼。”耶和华听了以利沙的祷告，使他们瞎了眼。以利沙对他们说：“不是这条路，也不是这座城。跟我来，我带你们到你们要找的人那里。”以利沙把他们领到撒玛利亚。他们进城后，以利沙祷告：“耶和华啊，求你开他们的眼睛，让他们看见。”耶和华开了他们的眼睛，他们就看见了，发现自己在撒玛利亚城中。
