我看见恶人生前出入圣所，死后安葬，还在他们作恶的城中受到称赞，这也是虚空。

“后来，乞丐死了，天使带他到亚伯拉罕身边。财主也死了，被人埋葬了。他在阴间受折磨，抬头远远地看见亚伯拉罕和他身边的拉撒路，

别把我的灵魂和罪人同毁，别把我的性命与嗜血之徒同灭。
