Then he gave a sign on the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn to pieces and the ashes which are on it shall be poured out.’ ”

上帝之僕預言異跡曰、此壇必裂、其灰盡傾、是耶和華所預言之異跡。

神人又設一預兆曰、此壇必裂、其上之灰必傾、此主所言之預兆、

That same day the man of God gave a sign:“ This is the sign the Lord has declared: The altar will be split apart and the ashes on it will be poured out.”

That same day the man of God spoke about a miraculous sign. He said,“ Here is the sign the Lord has announced. This altar will be broken to pieces. The ashes on it will be spilled out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn down, and the ashes that are on it shall be poured out.’”

That same day the man of God gave a sign to prove his message. He said,“ The Lord has promised to give this sign: This altar will split apart, and its ashes will be poured out on the ground.”

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the LORD has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which Jehovah hath spoken: Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This[ is] the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that[ are] upon it shall be poured out.

That day he also announced a sign,“ This is the sign the LORD has predetermined: The altar will be split open and the ashes on it will fall to the ground.”

He gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which Yahweh has spoken: Behold, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”

For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom;

So Gideon said to Him,“ If now I have found favor in Your sight, then perform for me a sign that it is You speaking with me.

Then He said,“ Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and it turned into a serpent; and Moses fled from it.But the Lord said to Moses,“ Reach out with your hand and grasp it by its tail”— so he reached out with his hand and caught it, and it turned into a staff in his hand—“ so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

The Jews then said to Him,“ What sign do You show us as your authority for doing these things?”

Then Hezekiah had said,“ What is the sign that I will go up to the house of the Lord?”

So Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and so they did, just as the Lord had commanded; and Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his servants, and it turned into a serpent.

Now Hezekiah said to Isaiah,“ What will be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I will go up to the house of the Lord on the third day?”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him,“ Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.”But He answered and said to them,“ An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign; and so no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet;for just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea monster for three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

And this will be the sign to you which will come in regard to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas: on the same day both of them will die.

And I will save you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will protect this city.” ’“ And this shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will perform this word that He has spoken:Behold, I will make the shadow on the stairway, which has gone down with the sun on the stairway of Ahaz, go back ten steps.” So the sun’s shadow went back ten steps on the stairway on which it had gone down.

“ Ask for a sign for yourself from the Lord your God; make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven.”But Ahaz said,“ I will not ask, nor will I put the Lord to the test!”Then he said,“ Listen now, house of David! Is it too trivial a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well?Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.

“ So if they will not believe you nor pay attention to the evidence of the first sign, they may believe the evidence of the last sign.But if they will not believe even these two signs nor pay attention to what you say, then you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground; and the water which you take from the Nile will turn into blood on the dry ground.”

“ If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder,and the sign or the wonder comes true, of which he spoke to you, saying,‘ Let’s follow other gods( whom you have not known) and let’s serve them,’you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer of dreams; for the Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

And this will be the sign to you,’ declares the Lord,‘ that I am going to punish you in this place, so that you may know that My words will assuredly stand against you for harm.’
