那一天神人指出一個兆頭說：『看吧，這壇必破裂，壇上的灰必傾撒下來：這是永恆主所說到的兆頭。』

当日，神人设个预兆，说：“这坛必破裂，坛上的灰必倾撒，这是耶和华说的预兆。”

神人又設一預兆曰、此壇必裂、其上之灰必傾、此主所言之預兆、

That same day the man of God gave a sign:“ This is the sign the Lord has declared: The altar will be split apart and the ashes on it will be poured out.”

That same day the man of God spoke about a miraculous sign. He said,“ Here is the sign the Lord has announced. This altar will be broken to pieces. The ashes on it will be spilled out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn down, and the ashes that are on it shall be poured out.’”

That same day the man of God gave a sign to prove his message. He said,“ The Lord has promised to give this sign: This altar will split apart, and its ashes will be poured out on the ground.”

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the LORD has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

Then he gave a sign on the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn to pieces and the ashes which are on it shall be poured out.’ ”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which Jehovah hath spoken: Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This[ is] the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that[ are] upon it shall be poured out.

That day he also announced a sign,“ This is the sign the LORD has predetermined: The altar will be split open and the ashes on it will fall to the ground.”

He gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which Yahweh has spoken: Behold, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”

猶太人求神迹，希利尼人尋智慧，

基甸對他說：『我若在你面前蒙恩，求你為我顯個神迹，證實是你同我說話。

永恆主說：『丟在地上。』摩西一丟在地上，就變成了蛇；摩西便躲開。永恆主對摩西說：『伸出手來、握住牠的尾巴。』（摩西一伸手、拿住牠，牠在摩西掌握中、就變為手杖。）這樣，好叫他們相信永恆主、他們祖宗的上帝、亞伯拉罕的上帝、以撒的上帝、雅各的上帝，真地向你顯現過。』

於是猶太人回答耶穌說：『你作這些事、能把甚麼神迹指給我們看呢？』

希西家也曾經問說：『我能上永恆主的殿、有甚麼兆頭啊？』

摩西、亞倫就進去見法老，照永恆主所吩咐的去行；亞倫把他的手杖丟在法老和法老的臣僕面前，手杖就變為蛇。

希西家問以賽亞說：『永恆主必將我醫好，第三天我就能上永恆主的殿：有甚麼兆頭呢？』

當下有幾個經學士和法利賽人應時對耶穌說：『先生，我們願意從你手裏看個神迹。』耶穌回答他們說：『邪惡淫亂的世代切求着神迹；但是除了神言人約拿的神迹以外，必沒有神迹給它。約拿怎樣三晝三夜在大魚腹中，人子也必怎樣三晝三夜在地心裏。

你的兩個兒子何弗尼非尼哈所要遭遇的這事必給你做個兆頭：他們二人必在一天之內都死掉。

我必援救你和這城脫離亞述王的手掌；我必圍護這城。『永恆主必成就他所說過的這件事：他所要給你的兆頭是這樣：看吧，我必使臺階上的日影兒、就是在亞哈斯臺階上所照下的、往後退十步。』於是在臺階上所照下的日影兒果然退了十步。

『你向永恆主你的上帝求個兆頭，或者求顯於陰間那麼深，或者求顯於上天那麼高都可以。』亞哈斯說：『我不求，我不試探永恆主。』以賽亞說：『大衛家啊，你們要聽；你們使人發膩豈算小事，還要使我的上帝發膩麼？因此主自己必給你們一個兆頭：看吧，必有少婦要懷孕，生個兒子；她必給他起名叫「以馬內利」。

永恆主又說：『將來他們若不信你，不聽這頭一個神迹所表示的，他們就必信這以後的神迹所表示的。將來他們若連這兩個神迹也不信，不聽你的話，那麼你就要從河裏取些水，倒在旱地上，你從河裏取的水就必在旱地上變成了血。』

『你們中間若有神言人或是作夢的起來，給你一個神迹或奇事；那神迹或奇事應驗了；他就對你講到這事說：「我們去隨從別的神，服事他們吧」；這些神是你素來所不認識的；你不可聽那神言人或那作夢的人的話；因為永恆主你們的上帝在試驗着你們、要知道你們是不是真地全心全意愛永恆主你們的上帝。

永恆主發神諭說；我在這地方要察罰你們、必有以下這事給你們做兆頭，使你們知道我降禍與你們、的話一定立得住。
